Miyako was on piano and started playing it when she was 3 and then the guitar at 18, she is a concert level pianist who has classical training. Midori the other guitarist also was a piano maven until she gave it up and took up the guitar at 20. Both these guitarist are late comers to the guitar game but clearly their piano background made that transition easier. Too bad Midori gave up the piano as I would love to see these ladies do dueling guitars and then dueling pianos, how epic would that be!! BTW nice reaction and the band wants to do a LIVE show with a full orchestra next, can only imagine how that would sound!!!

I think it's why she tends to be stone faced in her performances because growing up playing piano she tends to be extremely to focused on making sure she plays the notes correctly but she does show emotion on stage occasionally. When she was 18 she picked up the guitar. Miyako composes and arranged a majority of Lovebites music while asami writes the lyrics. Midori on the other hand is the performer and the speed demon and plays the faster blistering solos which is a nice contrast from Miyako. Miho the bass player doesn't really get a lot of attention but she's the leader of the band

A song was written by Asami way before she joined Lovebites but was never touched, recorded or produced.
