Having a hard time getting to play a game. I usually just rip the bandaid off. Read through and get a decent understanding, then mentally prepare that I'll play a game terribly. After that game, read rules again and it does an amazing job of filling in the gaps.
I’m in the stage of not playing a lot due to a baby but we get about 1-2 games in on weekend nights when he’s asleep. I always think it’ll be more fun when he’s older and can play games but holding them while they fall asleep is one of the best feelings and I know I’ll miss that in a couple years. I don’t know why but I like Gaia Project’s art, I know it isn’t amazing but I like it quite a bit. Really hoping my wife gets me the expansion for Christmas this year! 🤞🏻

Finding your channel and following ya since the Kelp 9 things you should know video! (P.S. backed the game and got it today and cannot wait to drag my S.O. to the table to play it! I love seeing the growth of the channel and seeing where the roads takes and thank you for pleasing the visual and hands on learner kinda guy! It was nice to pull the curtain back to see a glimpse of the wizard in their realm and here's to the future!

Arborea blew my mind I was skeptical of Barcelona and windmill valley as they look a bit dry and samey (!?) to any other euros exist? Do you think if I love Arborea would I feel the same for dani Garcia other two titles. That movement of workers and sharing of resources coupled by some area control/ tile placement felt insane to us. Never felt the same uniqueness in other euros. Think the closest was vindication which was also interesting
Arborea is pretty unique, I wouldn't say it is directly connected to anything in windmill valley or Barcelona...I think that is what makes Dani Garcia so Wonderfull though. Each design is very unique.
