Mam I had a doubt in Q9. Why did we cross-multiplied the equation at the end. When can we cross-multuply?

We can cross multipy whenever there are 2 fractions on both sides of and equal sign
For eg: a/b = c/d
Now we can cross multipy both the fractions and make it ad=bc
If it's not a fraction, we can make it a fraction by making it by 1
For eg : if it's. E
We can make it E/1 so it's a fraction
