- Return to site of an interesting mine dump seen in my last video, in search of more cool rocks to collect. Someone drove by who must have thought I was nuts. They could be right.

I can imagine walking by meminer while he picking away at pile of tailings just hearing him snickering to himself in delight. LOL
You might see the same thing in countless rock piles around the world. We are everywhere!
Hey, MM. Made me so happy to see you out in the dirt, finding treasures. Share the excitement of the hunt. Thanks. Stay safe
Glad your feeling better !!!❤️
I hope I am OK. I have more tests and the DR will tell me in a couple of weeks. Fingers crossed.
meMiner hoping for the best ❤️
That's what we love. Adventure...
And I binge watched all your videos in BC yesterday... old ones. 5 years ago ? With gold miniature nuggets in the river. Absolutely amazing ! Awesome ! Kolosssal ! 😁 You're the best. We like you.
Xoxo from Ottawa. 😊😊
Stéphane
That is awesome!
They just threw it away - one man's trash is another man's treasure !! Awesome find !!!
That’s incredible! Just on the side of the road ... great tip👍
Yes it was!
Wow what a adventure back to that pile the score just from that dump pile unreal finds beautiful finds sure glad u went back awesome made my morning better to your video as always awesome videos and times out thank you heal up strong and well my friend
Thanks 👍
looking happy ,both you and the samples hope that problem is in the rear view mirror, in the 50 s when I was young all the kids would get excited when a neighbor would get crushed limestone in their driveway, I would spend hours looking for pyrite, my mom would say more pants pockets full of rocks, great for me if I remembered to take them out before my mom did the laundry thanks for sharing
Did you notice that the washing machine did a great job cleaning your rocks in your pocket? Not great for the machine.
I see we share the same hairstylist, stay safe and happy prospecting.
My daughter Amy said she would give me a haircut. Probably a good before/after video. Good thing hair grows again.
@@meMiner Lolol, I was telling My younger sister was telling me that she would would give me a haircut and I told her that I would do a video for my channel of her doing so . This could be a good chance for sibling revenge (for her) , wish me luck.
meMiner good luck 🍀
Lol my hair was just like that too lol. The Mrs cut it with a number 4 shield on the shears. Pretty good job. But I digress, nice rocks and I'm betting you go back lol. Thanks for sharing.
Wonderful specimens 👍🏻
That’s the mica used in makeup , big money
Great to see you back at it. That's one powerful rock dust.
Rock on!
The last piece was really nice, always had a liking for pyrite. Enjoy the wonderful weather, look forward to your next scavenge!
The weather here has improved greatly, but of course that brings out the bugs in force for a little while.
@@meMiner yes it does! The scrub is growing fast now too, makes it harder to get in to some of the creeks I like.
Mate i love you're " I have found a neat rock " chuckle. it gets me every time i love it
Simply wonderful to watch and then the end with the 'reveal' is always fun. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us.
Glad you enjoyed it
Good to see you up and around!!! Best wishes for a quick and complete recovery!!
Thanks Ed!
That pile of dirt just keeps on giving. So glad it gave it to you. Sure was fun to watch and hear the chuckles! Thanks, me like very much!
Thanks again!
Never miss it my friend always a nice experience. Thank you for having an awesome channel.
Kind words. Thanks
That pile would drive your metal detector crazy. Good hunt my friend. Take care of yourself and havagudun.
Great to see ya back at it. Lots of neat stuff in those piles.
Good to see you having fun. Interesting rocks you found. Stay safe and take it easy. 🙋♀️🙂
Thanks 👍
Glad all is going well with you!
Those are very cool, never seen anything like it here in Oregon. Would luv to find something like that! Thank for sharing and tell Daisy hi 😃
Daisy says hello. ;-)
Gorgeous finds!!!
Pretty cool. Glad to see you are moving about well. Hope your recovery is swift. 😎✌️
Thanks William
You rock ! As much fun to find as they are to clean up and sell to someone else who gets excited enough to strike a deal for a flat cuz they appreciate the super cool earth magic you came upon!
You sound a bit like my wife, planning my day. LOL
Some beauties!!good to see you doing well😊
Thanks J Man
You find more gold in one rock than I have found sluicing for a decade! Go meMiner.
I have had many trips to historic gold creeks where I didn't get more than a single layer of gold dust in the bottom of a little one ounce container with a week of hard work. Enjoyed every minute of it.
That's fools gold, pyrite.
Thanks for the tip on the fabric gun, I'll have to see what's available here in Oz. Keep Well & Keep Rockin
Hope you have success in your search. ;-)
The adventure NEVER ENDS, my friend. You know this better than most! So happy to see a grown man playing in the dirt and having so much fun and after what you've been through you deserve all the fun you can have. Loving the pyrite chunk you found. ☺️
I felt a bit silly digging there when the truck drove by. I am sure they said to each other "tourist". LOL
meMiner, lol...who cares?! You are well and that's all we care about! Dig away, my friend, dig away! I sure wish I could get out there and play in the dirt and mud like I use to. ☺️
@@meMiner that is the best part of getting older!!! Second childhood! Blank them and the horse they rode in on!!! If you are having fun--Just Do It.
So many treasures! I also loved your rock dust transition - fancy! :D
Thank you! Cheers!
Love your videos. Thanks
Thanks Cynthia!
I think they put the pike there just fun us to enjoy! Cool stuff! Thanks for sharing! Stay well!
Awesome pile of coolness!
Thank you for sharing your adventure with us meMiner, much appreciated sir! :D
Thanks Kim. It means a lot.
Deu gold my dear.💝
All sorts of things in that pile, don't know what it was but it purty..! Glad you're out and about, Take care...! =)
Awsum Intro... You Found The 31 Flavors of Rocks in that Pile ForSure...👍🏻🤠
Thanks 👍
Right on buddy! Glad to see your back at it and feeling better! Take it easy man!
Getting out and about was something I thought about when in isolation. ;-)
most excellent specimens my friend..I like!
It was fun. I may have learned where it came from. Roadtrip!
Dropping a bunch of material in front of the gate might be a good way to distract people enough that they don't go past the gate. Whatever their motivation was I'm glad they dropped that material there, some really nice on matrix pyrite there.
Do you know where this place is?
Love that snicker😁
Special specimen placement for your recovery time. 😉
The power washer is pretty neat.
Until next time, take er easy. 🙏👍❤️
Thanks 👍
You got some nice finds! I can't wait to get down to N.C. and start breaking some rocks myself.
Strange year this year for travel. Hope you get out and have great luck
Beautiful specimens,
Looks like You're gonna have to hit it a few more times... Lol
Maybe a garden claw & a metal detector (since your garret carrot was going off ).. be safe & best of luck...
I'd be back again this week if it wasn't a 6 hour drive away. ;-)
I really liked that in this one you show the, lets say, "end result" on the rocks a little cleaner, should do it more ;)
It is more work and sometimes difficult to match up the rocks in the videos afterwards. Still, it makes sense to try,.
So you have a scary health event, get some time off work and, we find you digging through old mine tailings. My hats off to you meMiner, out of respect. But, please follow the your doctor’s and wife’s advice. Love ya man.
It was a long weekend here. I returned to work fairly quickly. I meet wth the doctor in a few weeks
That's like a Treasure hunt real cool!
Greig I hope you are keeping well.
You are such a lucky finder, if only.
I am feeling OK. Thanks
Beautiful!
Awsome fineds looks great after the clean up
Thanks 👍
I love when you chortle!
Hiya, yes sir!! You were right about that, there was more and more beautiful stones there. I just can't see why someone would get rid of something as beautiful as those stones, and they have value too them. Ya you were right, a kid in the candy store, all alone. Lol
I hope you have a really great day.
I was whooped from metal detecting earlier in the day and digging holes. It was a fun distraction.
giggling like a kid with a fist full of money in a candy store lol.
Great vlog, and great score !!
You should hear me when I find gold. LOL
@@meMiner LMAO, Ya I can only amagine
Beautiful druzy pockets ❤️😊✌🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
Good to see your feeling better and your getting out and about. I hope the prognoses for the illness is good so we get to see you out and about for some tine to come.cant believe you are getting those from beside the road at the gate. What is that little cleaning gun you are using, I have not seen one before, great little piece of gear.
Keep Safe & Keep Rockin
It is called a fabric gun. Designed to get stains out of clothes. Works pretty good to clean up rocks. I bought mine at a mineral show, but have since seen them on Amazon and eBay too
Those pixey rocks are Cool thanks MeMiner!!!; )
You are the zen master of rocks and silver!
My camera shy buddy usually kicks my butt, but I still get my share. ;-)
@@meMiner Always great to have a camera buddy that kicks your butt. Lol
@@lanceharker5845 It keeps me humble. LOL
Glad you are feeling better buddy! You should should crush and pan some of these samples. The pyrite, chalcopyrite and galena you have there in some of the rocks may be a good sign of some AU.
I would crush some if I can figure out where they came from. Some of the areas are the wrong geology for gold, but hey...you never know.
cool to see the pyrite come out when you when you cleaned them, thanks for the show
Makes me wonder what I leave behind when looking at dirty rocks. ;-)
meMiner i know what you mean!
"That's kinda neat." Really?... You're spoiled meMiner, that's awesome! Keep 'em coming
It was fun. I still have some footage from this trip in other spots. I just have to get on my computer for some editing.
@@meMiner Love it... I've been too busy the past couple months I've got some binge watching to do...
Amazing nice finds, meMiner👍
- And you know for sure that there may be some p.p.m. gold in pyrite? But not worth the work, though🤪
Very true
meMiner you sound like me at an estate sale with old tools and knives. Like a kid in a candy store. Nice video buddy
Simple pleasures. ;-)
Good job 👍
Keep looking, there has to be a fist sized nugget waiting for you.
You never know... ;-)
Good to see you out and about, how are the flies, don’t see many buzzing around.
WRXS this was recorded before his medical problem.
Those were awesome 💪💪💪
It was fun and unexpected. ;-)
You just need a dump truck and a front end loader
Just take it all home with you 👍
I was thinking about one of those remote control toys. I could sit in a lawn chair and run a little RC escalator to load a RC dump truck and never have to get up unless I need another beverage. ;-)
Got to love Cobalt!
@meMiner hey buddy hope you've been doing great. Love your videos! Cant wait to make It back up there, been in costa rica where it is not legal to take gold or mine, even small scale.
I didn't know that about Costa Rica.
He’s BAAACK!!! lol. Glad to see you are back at it, searching and carrying bags of rocks. Daisy back to normal as well?
Daisy is always ready for an adventure. Me too. ;-)
Great video 👍👍
Thanks much
Yet another fun trip treasure hunting but where's your four legged best friend?
It looked like the gate was open is that going to be yet another cool video for us to watch ?
That's a handy little budy camper if I had one I would take long fishing trips and forget about all that's bothering me and eat a lot more fish too !
.
Keep on doing what makes you happy but don't forget what recently happened my friend !
Daisy was happy to stay in the truck. I left the door open so she could watch and come out to play when she was ready.
@@meMiner she's always looking happy and content. I would imagine some of the different types of rock & shale could hurt her feet and she doesn't look like the boot wearing type!
.
My BRANDY went everywhere I did where she could go safely it was difficult to leave her home when her safety became issue
This was so much fun and I love seeing your happiness at finding more goodies, mind you... I'd be just as happy!!!
Thanks Dusty
Very very cool.
Made it on time today, I was sober last night 😂😂 those look really nice 😁
I notice you didn't say "I didn't drink". Sober is a relative statement, especially for a Scott. LOL
Thanks for the smile.
@@meMiner 😂😂 yup, a canni deny that one lol
This rocks looks brilliant. Looks like minerals from Madan Ore Field in Bulgar. Do you try garden sprayer full of water on dumps? You can wash first layer of rocks, what make search easier, and also you can see what you carry to home... but this method creates a lot of mud around so you must try and see if you like it. Sometimes better idea is buy a bowl create to mix concrete - if you have stream near you can fill it with water and work with big steiner. It doesn't really helpful, but sometimes it is (depends on the dump, rocks size, amount of dust etc.)
I have never tried washing away a hillside but have the gas powered water pumps that would do it. Just need a close water supply as they use about 130 gal/minute
@@meMiner I'm thing about small sprayer With 2-3 gallons of water. With that pomp you can move entire dump :D
I hope you’re feeling better!!
I am OK. I will hear more in a couple of weeks when I get more tests. Thanks
That mica dust would look very cool suspended in clear resin by itself or with small quartzite crystals.
I hope you feel better soon Grandma.
I am feeling much better, thanks. I will find out next steps in a few weeks and hopefully get good news
Welcome to coming back Im glas to se you again
Centipede smashing? You're a bad guy! ;-)
Where did you start learning about collecting and identifying rocks? I’d love to have your knowledge
I mostly learn by doing it. Still learning. ;-)
@@meMiner ya i envy that skill. I look them up and say "oh its this, or this, but could be that." I find it tough differentiating sometimes.
That there is Gold in them there hills, Man
Soooo awesome! Do you oil your pyrite specimens? I would for those bad boys. Holy jumpin! Very nice
I don't oil anything and leave them natural. Do you use mineral oil and what is the affect on pyrite?
@@meMiner i learned that pyrite once watered will oxidize and rust. I found a bunch of pyrite last summer, calcopyrite mostly i think, even after cleaning a few day i noticed the specimens fading. Any oil i believe will do im not an expert. I used grape seed oil because of it's clarity but im sure mineral oil would do too. So to sum it up, i looked at the piece i put into the oil just a week ago and it was just as stunning as the day i cleaned it. I said a little wow 😁👌
@@meMiner ..once watered 😂 once exposed to water and oxygen 😂
what is that funky little super soaker??? like a poket preasure washer??? never heard of those
That sound scared the Hell out of me, it sounded like you got shot by a gun, when you were putting your rocks away, 10:06
You like, I like!
The fabric gun carries a much greater volume than a water pic.😉
It was empty by the end of these 4 rocks. Probably 10minutes or so of spraying.
cool 👍👍👍
AUX:CDN Auramex - this company is going back into an old high producing gold mine and reprocessing all the tailings with better technology, etc. The stock is a great price now and should double or better by the fall. So, not just the little guys are interested in old mines.
Nice specimens you dug out of there. Must have been someones bulk sample that they were told "No" and had too dump it ?
Could be
Hi! How are you feeling? Welcome back!
Hey, thanks! I am doing OK
Link for that amazing Little Rock cleanse you have at the end of the vid there?
Pretty good tool for about $100. Hard to believe I lived without one for so long.
Those were great.. so how ya feeling Greig?and have you heard from Symon?.. as always take care thanks for sharing ☮️
Symon from UK?
meMiner yes that Symon
btw - any idea what happened to the gpex forum website? Seems like it was there one day and gone the next.
Dang. I used to be active on it with the name "sunshine". I guess they didn't pay their bills. Hopefully, they come back up. I had lots of friends there.
I'd really like to take a trip to Cobalt, its only 4hrs 51 minutes from me..
I'm just dyin to go diggin up stuff, and I think that I'm kinda ready for it, lol
Identifying would be the hardest, but I suppose if it looks good n Shinny put it in a bag and figure it out later. Lol
The specimens jus look so cool ..
About the same drive as me, except I usually stop at a few lakes to give Daisy a swim, so I count on about 7 hours. Your best bet is to use a metal detector. It is difficult to find silver by eyeballing. Good luck if you go.
@@meMiner I'm absolutely looking for a Metal detector. Got all the other gear, lol, lots of money spent already. Looking forward to putting what I learned from you and others to the test..
Have a great day friend..
@@petekobraoutdoors7324 If I am up there at the same time, I always have an extra that I can lend out. Still, you are best off with your own machine that you have prior practice. Also, a pinpointer will speed up recovery(s).
What is that tool you use to dig with.. and where did you get it?
A mudding pick for mining. It was made at a company called Time in Hailbury, Ontario. I bought mine at their factory
what do ya know, an auto- matic spray bottle, now i just need to get better so i can get out and some rock collecting my self. have to see if i can find one on amazon or wal-marts,,thank you for the video
Amazon for sure. Get well.
Отлично👍
Thanks
Well for me the magic dust always made me jumpy, so had to stop. 😁😁
But if it gets me rocks like those forget it
I can only imagine what your yard looks like with all the rocks you bring home...does the wife let you bring any in the house>>>lol
Can you imagine what you could find at the mine. Maybe bigger gems and silver
Time is always an issue. Always seem a bit rushed. ;-)
