That Phantom of the Opera sort of riff from Predator was some straight Black Sabbath stuff done in an interesting, contemporary way. Super cool.
Are you at all familiar with Black Label Society? They’re Zakk Wylde’s band. I think you’d dig them.
Chris Schoenberg is a big fan of Zack Wyld, but the only album of his that I know is Pride and Glory. I love the banjo on that album! The song "Hate Your Guts" is awesome!
@@PatrickMusilek Zakk is one of the best guitarists on the planet, so of course Chris likes him.
Pride and Glory is fantastic. Most BLS stuff is bluesy, Southern sort of dark metal kind of music. Just seems like the sort of thing you’d enjoy.
