Funny, how we can clearly see you got bitten by the pinball bug, and how the itchy for upgrading it more and more developed . I am the first stage. Just did a controller with flipper buttons, now I want solenoids, soon I will want to build my cabinet . I already have w spare screens here. 😂 Amazing project !
Thanks! :) Yeah, I always liked pinball and even considered buying a cabinet but the size was a bit of a problem. Plus new ones are quite expensive and buying an old machine would be full of challenges. The I saw ads for Arcade1up which is nice at first glance but pretty shitty if you look into specs/reviews. The I discovered VPX early this year and thought that I can do it. The rest is history ;) All the best with your build! :)
Love it, turned out awesome. I really want to go the DIY this time around (still love my modded ALP), but stuff like this gets me going. I don’t have any wood making skills, so I may get a flat pack and handle the internals myself. Enjoy that little vpin!
Hi buddy, great video, could you show us how did you do your configuration on the system please? your pinball looks great and I would like to build one of them, thank you in advance. David.
@@frostyarcade Thanks 🙂 Yes, PinballX and it works great. Btw, I replaced the micro switches flipper buttons with leaf switches a few days ago. I’ll have a short video on it soon.
Did you install "Solenoids"...a lot more wirings and work if you do though but you'd get almost real rumble feels or vibration like in the real pinball?
I didn't go for solenoids. I was thinking about it but really the 4 exciters and relatively big speakers in the bottom do a great job in this smaller cabinet. You can feel the ball rolling and the vibration/sound of the flippers, etc is very realistic. Also the space in this cabinet is limited so I decided that it's enough :)
virtual pinballs aren't exciting anymore, now that Zen Studio's pinballs are so awesome.. Zen Studios (creator of Pinball FX) did a conversion of a "Attack from Mars". It's 10x better than the original and it puts the visual pinball version to shame. Once you're played pinball conversions by Zen Studios you wouldn't want to play the same pinballs on visual pinballs anymore.
Nah i disagree, the VPX versions of the "real" tables will always be better for most pinball lovers. Zen is fun but i like realworld tables replicated overall.
I'm not an expert on Zen but what I saw in the past was nice but not that realistic. VPX seemed perfect also having read various reviews before starting the build. Since I have IT background and like tinkering, VPX ticks all the boxes for me. But I'll have a look at Zen and maybe decide to install it too. Thanks!
You must be referring the VPX 9 or something, because everything in VPX 10 blows Zen Studios out of the water. Table authors the likes of g5k, flupper, JPSalas, VPW - just to name a very few - are the showcase Visual Pinball wizards.
You created something spectacular, your machine looks amazing and your kids are lucky to have you as a Dad! Have a great day!
Thank you very much! ❤

Kumdot, first defintly go for SSF, mean 7.1 sound with speakers, exciters and bass shaker, you wont regret it, promise 😊

Great work! Takes me back to my build days during Covid.
Great job on the build. Looks very clean. Always fun to upgrade to the best equipment for performance.
Thanks!
Fantastico!!!! veramente bello! good job love it!
Nice work man! Looks great!
Great work! I am planning to build one myself. Did you get all the tables in a pack or you got them one by one?
Fantastico! Complimenti 👍🏻

David.
Looking good! What size is the backbox monitor?
Good video friend, but a doubt if it's just for pinball for such a powerful order? Or are you going to use it retrobat?
Really nice setup! Any link to where you bought the buttons?
Awesome.
Super!!🖖🏻
Hello. Posso sapere che caratteristiche deve avere il PC per fare questo progetto? Grazie
Looks fantastic. How big is the playfield screen?
Thanks 🙂 27in, 1440p, 160Hz.
Wow! Great job! Are you using pinball x for the front end?

Most real pinball fans would disagree with you , sorry.

Man are you a shill for Zen Studios or what?
