Happy Birthday 🎉 - Enjoy that belated birthday trip - It’s a great alternative to the typical Vegas Steakhouse. I know that larger channels like Norma, Vegas Must Try, Josh and Rachel, and others have already shown this place, but I can definitely see why. I was very pleased with the meal, and even some of the Mexican inspired twists like Salmon Belly as the fish base for a ceviche (we are used to whitefish or other seafood as the base), Duck instead of Pork for the Enchiladas, or Cilantro versus Parsley as the base for a Chimichurri - While not traditional by any means, these substitutions really kept respect to the traditional flavors while offering up something unique and new to the dish. Expect to pay the usual strip mark up, but I will definitely say this place did impress us. -Paul
We always try to when we can. James has worked for many years in the food industry, and I have worked hospitality almost all my adult life. While we don’t always get the opportunity to shout out or sometimes miss shots when filming (as sometimes there’s so much to remember when trying to have a dinner and make a video), we do try our best to shout out when we can. Glad you enjoyed! Ambience was upscale with a bit of a nightlife vibe. The music was pumping but not blasting. All in all, the restaurant is very colorful and lively. You know we love a good French restaurant, but Mexican cuisine always holds a special place in our heart. That flan was seriously one of the yummiest flans that I’ve ever had. -James
My family and I were there on Tuesday and we loved it. We agree with the house salsa and chips were great. Our app was the queso fundido and it was amazing, cheese perfectly melted on a hot skillet, I even added a little bit of the house salsa onto the melted cheese and tasted great. My wife had the shrimp tempura taco and adored it. I had the chopped cheeseburger taco, I was highly impressed with it. For dessert we had churros, we liked that they came in a paper bag and our server shook the bag with the sugar and cinnamon at tableside. All in all we're definitely going back next time we're in Vegas

Though I am aware of how much you love Fulton Fish Frye so I want to let you know that it will be a part of next week’s video. Also for this September’s trip we have definitely been doing some research on things in the Fremont East area that we can show off for the channel during our Downtown stay as well as a fun place for a Halloween themed episode, so be on the lookout for some cool things coming. As well as a video about a Korean BBQ place north strip that we filmed on our last trip and even a Hofbräuhaus video. -Paul

So hoping if they had it you would get for dessert a tres leche cake usually with a vanilla sauce soaked in. Oh well next time. Your the best be well. Love you guys
We typically will do a tres leches cake (it’s one of James’ favorites), but admittedly we opted for the flan because it’s a bit lighter and was recommended by the staff. Also, while none of that steak or the sides went to any waste, I ended up eating 3/4 of that steak and more than half of those Enchiladas because James was getting quite full by the time we both hit our mains so by the time dessert came we were both happy to do the Flan. But this will not be the first time we have Mexican food on camera (it’s my favorite type of food) so we will definitely be on the lookout for a Tres Leches in the future. -Paul

I did not see any specific mocktails listed on the menu but as they do have a full bar, outside of the frozen cocktails which are batch made and premixed the cocktails on their menu are made to order from the bar so I am sure they could make a mocktail version of their cocktails by omitting the tequila or mezcal, but they do not specifically have a mocktail portion on their menu. -Paul

I like your explanation of “only $68”. That’s a fair price in Vegas and it looks perfectly cooked. I had a small steak and eggs breakfast at the MGM Grand two days ago, and it was $49. No Bloody Mary :(
For Vegas in a tourist area it totally is. At home though, we may have some qualms with that price. But in general when reviewing menus to plan out future content we have seen a NY Strip on the strip go for $78, $85, and depending on the place possibly more. I always joke with James when we watch content about “off strip” places when the creator is mentioning a place’s signature cocktails around $15 or $16 by saying “Only $16 for a premium cocktail? That’s cheap! The $20-$25 strip cocktail prices have surely desensitized us” 😂😂😂 I will say though, this restaurant does have plenty of options that are not steak that do go for anywhere from $22 to $42 so while we did feature a steak in the video, there are a lot of other entrees and mains that are not as expensive. -Paul

I went at night. They had a DJ playing. Food is good, typical Vegas strip price.
