    It seems African spirituality prioritises perfection over happiness. It discourages divorce and we must reconcile with family members we are no longer on good terms with. Also, it would be interesting to know how trauma is addressed in African spirituality, I do think unresolved and continuous trauma is our biggest issue as South Africans, bigger than spiritual issues.

      I also find with African spirituality for ancestors to be cruel people, they make your life miserable for practising something they themselves never taught u anything about. I feel we are just a traumatized nation that's trying to find healing and explanations from all sides yet we remain a mess, they lost the country to foreigners yet they punish us as their own to suffer until we acknowledge them? Ay make me understand. I have more questions than answers. And I get exactly what u mean, we have fathers that deliberately neglect their kids and instead of the ancestors to come together and work for the well being of the child they make the child suffer for life...aay CUT!

    Thank you so much for the enlightenment we need these conversations as Africans. We are in a mess. So excited to discover this channel at this point in time in my journey trying to fix the mess because I didn't know better. I am excited with the journey and discovering my spirit guides who are guiding me. Enkosi Khehla Manjoro. Camagu 👏🙏

    Spiritual healers no longer look scary. or wear weird clothing. Looking relatable. I think I can now approach for advice without fear.

    Khehla Manjoro and King David I'm grateful to be educated about all of this African Spirituality, on my side there's a lot I need to fix on my own because after the passing of my great-grandmother that's when I had it hard and it was like a dream,i must say ancestors are powerful hey they've been watching us and my daughter,maternal grandmother showed us flames😢...I'm still finding my feet

    One thing i know for sure is that with African Spirituality,it is never a one size fits all?as Africans we are different tribes that practice different things so we cannot all follow the same path when it comes to these rituals

    • @thato596
      @thato596 Рік тому +1

      Exactly. She is doing practices of machangane from mozambique and zulu practices. Black people suffer because they end up adopting all rituals out there which they end up calling on foreign bad spirits
