I think it only makes sense for King David to consider interviewing Chicco Twala himself because about four people he has interviewed have all mentioned how they were inspired by Chicco, so it would really be interesting to hear the story about his journey.
Bafethu yazi eMdantsane kukho otata babantu ababizwa ngoo Jakarumpa because of this legend these are the guys who are supposed to be motivational speakers to our troubled youth
Kalawa Jazmee need to make a plan and have a film division because the quality of artists they had need to evolve to that movie status level. Real South African films.. "Straight outta Ndofaya" vibes 😁. Just from watching this interview I could see a Trompies movie which tells this story perfectly with quality authentic pictures like they did when giving is music videos.. We are tired of apartheid movies.. One of Our biggest exports is our culture as South Africans and Africans.. It can't just stop with the music!! And I want to see that Blue Trompies Caravelle in the movie 😆😆
I mean it's criminal to have Trompies, Alaska, Boom Shaka, Mafikizolo, Bongo Muffin, etc in one label and not transcend these brands to documentaries and movies. Proudly South African films.
What i love about his podcast kore ke mfana, le 2000, and most of the guests i don't know them but i gained a lot of knowledge from them. Interesting stuff joh🔥
"Tussen!!"He is in the building!!Jakarumba is without a doubt a great storyteller. His narration here is truly praiseworthy, it seemed like I was watching a Trompies/Jazmee film documentary. Props to the both of you. This was a brilliant dialogue.

🤣🤣🤣 I promise you Meadowlands has a type. Never laughed so hard on this podcast....thank you for the content Sir David. I remember I used to be so scared of this guy in high school. To save money we'd walk from zone 1 to go catch taxis ko dobsie. I used to see him ko zone 9. I knew he was famous but there was no way I would greet him with the look he gave me.
Great to hear these tough life stories which were expeienced by most youngsters growing up in any typical South African township during those times and struggles of apartheid.
Please bring Revolution the twins grootman or Dj Cleo... I wanna hear from these gentlemen who decided to produce their own music during the era of house compilations.
I'm really glad that I lived during those times when Kwaito was at peak. Yeses what a great way of life, Jakarumba had nine lives indeed. This legend here was my favorite because of his playful character. When he throws a little bit of afrikaans I just smile because I grew up in a township where old Tymers would speak Tsotsi Taal and gooi Afrikaans here and there. Looking back at those days it is difficult for me to pick one artist and say this was the best. They all had a distinctive character that was different from the rest and you would like them. Ngimcanywa blind mina umfundisi, ss he would say "Hallellujah".
One day they parked their yellow bmw... i-GUSHESHE*next to my grandmother's house at MOHLAKENG 🌷...early nighties...in the early years of TROMPIES *...I wondered why...kanti it was Mahootas home...The Sibika's...Salute to the The Phenomenal TROMPIES movement .👋👋👋👌💥💥💚💚💚
