A different lineup of the band with Jim and 2 other guys played together from 1998 to mid 2000. There are several soundboard recordings from Lili's and other venues as well as a few videos of complete shows including their 1999 Labor Day weekend show at the Exit in Chicago.
yourtubesteak Thanks for the update. Haven't seen the band since the '80's. Before this full set, the only UA-cam video I could find was just a grainy "Hellbilly" somebody posted from the show. The Defever's really made the band come alive.
BanDin Detroit In 98 Pasadena, ex guitarist of the Mutants, switched to bass and his at the time 18 year old son Jeff played drums. They played until mid 2000.
The two times I've seen them in Indianapolis it was Jim, John on bass and Gene Montayne on drums. Occasionally they play with a bass player and John goes to guitar.
The kid playing bass with the steinberger bass and tweed jacket with the shoulder pads fucking rules in this video. It was right when that style was hated the most and now it’s full circle. Lol

The much, much better version of 'the misfits'!!! No carnival, just straight rock'n'roll. Rockin' every tomb on the cemetery. Fabulous...

Knew him personally. Totally different than his stage persona. Great, great dude. Loved and admired him.
