I guess it was sometime around 1987...elvis hitler opened for the dead milkmen at the rockin ritz in roseville..i was 14 or so..my first show. Last weekend the dead milkmen in hamtramck and last night elvis hitler at old Miami. Bit of hangover today. Things havent changed too much in the dirty d! Still good shows in Detroit
Elvis Hitler opened for The Dead Milkmen when I was in college. I never would have heard of them were it not for that concert. And btw, BEST CONCERT EVER!
These guys still do a show every now and again. Didn’t get to go this year due to the plague, but saw them at Small’s in Hamtramk (Detroit) a year ago. Always a great time!
@@andreusivanovicus1572 oh really? that simple? Psychobilly is a slippery beast to define ;-) screaming jay hawkins, Johnny cash, Lord Such, all psychobilly and long before punk :-D
Yep, I have this and Hellbilly (their second album) on CD. I used to own the third, Supersadomasochisticexpialidicious, but got rid of it years ago--the only good thing about it was the name.
Yep. You guys know what's coming..... that thing you fear to see in the comments..... My grandpa had this album & I didn't know he could rock like that!! 😂😂😂
I first heard this in 1992 from my friend Kevin Lancaster, and I love it, couldn't fuckin' believe. I grew up in NYC and Upstate fuckin' NY. And I used to see the Ramones on Jones Beach, The runaways Sid and Wendy-o. We thought it is free besides parking and beers. Well, when I hit WV 10-12 years later. I met Kev at a bar in Charleston WV. He was kool his friends were kool. Well, I should state Kieth Hampton, was his friend, way before me. I was 28 or so don't care. But he let me take a few of his albums home to tape. He knew I had an extencive collection, and he saw my stereo set-up and said fine. My girl at the moment was a lawyer so that probably helped a bit. And the good weed I would bring. We wouldn't listen to it unless we were high and drunk, cause we never smoked before drinking. Drinking was the first drug that gave me a fuckin problem. And I still hate that. But yeah anyway, just love this shit, it is some of the best metal, I call it. I am sure that pisses you off, because it does Keith and we are still friends to this fuckin day, and I am Now 58 he was 17 when I met him, I still don't know what Kev's age was, cause it doesn't fuckin matter. If it does u my friend are an ars.
wow... didn't not expect this.... For some reason Berlin to Memphis popped into my head ... I have not listened to this album in a long, long time. So I pulled it up to give a long over due listen I start reading the comments and I came across yours. I was friends with Kevin. Sorry to say but he passed away several years ago.

I'm not usually into pychobilly as such, but as a punk rock listener somehow, this really rocks!
Psychobilly IS punk rock. It's literally a punk+rockabilly hybrid genre, call it punkabilly
