I would love to travel to Finland also.
You guys got sooooooo lucky, Happy Birthday Sarah, what an amazing Birthday gift to see the Northern Lights!
We were very lucky! It was beautiful. Thank you!
Absolutely mesmerizing! The way you captured the Northern Lights is breathtaking. Such a unique and magical experience. Happy 30th birthday to Sarah! 🎉 Kudos for the surprise setup, Nick. You've created a memory to cherish forever!
It was so magical in a beautiful country! Thank you!
You must be the luckiest people in the world! You got to Kakslauttanen and you saw the Northern Lights almost right away! I've never heard of anyone experiencing the same thing... And happy birthday Sarah!
We couldn't believe it! Especially our first time seeing it. Thank you!
Alot of videos I've seen many people miss the Northern lights because it gets cloudy. You guys had some charms with ya!❤😊
Seeing them waling around, opening doors... WHILE THE FRONT DOOR IS STILL OPEN!! That is absolute faux pa in Finland. You close the front door and keep the heat in! People can get quite angry about that little detail, cause it really matters.
i came here to look for this comment :D
@@moonliteX Heh.. yeah... when you pay for the heating and have optimized everything to be just right.. then 10 minutes of open doors can be either large heating bill for that day or worse, it takes several hours to get that heat back. Recently moved to such a place where you got to deal with everything and balance the heating just at that border of comfort and paying silly amounts.. I'm even more conscious of how long the door is open. At -20C that ten minutes is 2kWh of lost energy.
Everyone is so friendly and helpful over there :)
Wow the 2nd one was huge! Cross the entire sky...
thanks for the good videos, good that you captured everything. I was just curious if bus drivers will assist in storing the luggages or we would have to bring it all up lol. Just started researching for my winter 2025 trip and this was helpful!
Yes, the bus drivers are very helpful with luggage and getting you to the right destination. Everyone is so friendly!
That looked like a blast! Happy birthday!
Thank you, it was so much fun!
Thank you for sharing this great video, very inspirational. Big cheers from Melbourne 🍷!
Thanks, cheers Melbourne!
@@sarahandnick3870Cheers from New England USA!❤😊
no lingonberries with the reindeer stew?
5:30 did she charge 50€ for 2 coffees? that must have been a mistake ; for that price lunch must have been included
- because finland is a nation where
you get to every lunch buffet free coffee on top , its not something we try to get rich on here...
(finland is world top coffee nation per capita)
It was 350€. The cups were probably made of gold.
It was 3,5e
i like you guys. nice journey. 😀
Thank you!
Wow. Lots of hassle for tourists. The service provider needs to put their let's-sort-this-shit-out -trousers on.
How much was the coffee? 5€, not 50€.
It was 3.50€ if I'm not mistaken
Where was the hassle? Do you mean the van that picked them up to the second location?
Eating in a restaurant with your hats on, really?
rather embarrassing... when eating by the campfire, you somehow understand it, but that at a restaurant table...🤦♀️🤦♂️
