Also just wow, the b-roll shots are getting better with every single video. It’s insane how much your production value has gone up seeing as you started with already some of the best content on UA-cam. Amazing video as always E!
Thanks a lot for introducing an alternative for Grovemade. First time hearing about Balolo. Although Grovemade has fantastic goods, the shipping from US just makes it that much more expensive - so especially appreciated by Europeans :)
One item that made total difference in ergonomics for me is foot rest. Having my knees at the same level of my hips improved the blood flow in my legs. I have a pretty decent and adjustable chair, but my table is not adjustable so.
🔥 You are on fire… Thank you for sharing your passion. You have invested in a great setup and again thank you for all the work gone into & the quality of this production/video. I understand it is one big advertisement for all the affiliate links in the description. I wish you all the best with the sales. May you make Millions of dollars 💰 Cheers from Western Australia 🇦🇺✌🏻😎
It would be great if there was a budget alternative to the Grovemade and Balolo shelves. It seems that no-one else does a good looking shelf that has a horizontal divider underneath.
good looking table, riser, display, even keyboard, etc all costs a lot more than mine, I am sure you have good taste maybe a little more expensive than mine. BTW it is much easier to have an expensive taste than not. BTW when you are not vlogging is your tabletop as messy as mine?
Hi E…!! A small request… where can I find only a “wallpaper” of AQUA iOS 16 widget + wallpaper from your store …!! Of course it should be paid version. I have made my own widget same like yours only need wallpaper to finish the set up..!! 😊😊😊😊
Hi E - how or where did you get the black shelf from Balolo ? I have one already in the walnut finish and I cannot find the all black version you have in your video
can I ask what is a good motorized table top desk? At the moment I am using a Ikea desk / table top is good but I want to get a motorized / stand up desk thanks
I actually use the Ikea Ekby Alex on my ikea bambu anfallare. Sure have to move down keyboard and mouse a little to open them fully but the desk pad can stay as it is. Mostly prefer to hide small things on the desk and this was a cheap solution for drawers. Not that good if you got bigger things to store under the screen
@@ThisIsE Have to pull out the drawers a little carefully mostly the monitor weight is enough. have an 32" that weighs around 6kg. My backup plan if it annoys me will be 2 small pieces of double sided tape in the back cornors. The small height difference won't show from the front. Also thank you for your videos!
I use both. I can't use just a trackpad because it gets difficult dragging around elements and components of designs or edits. Magic mouse as primary and trackpad as secondary for me.
Hi there , I can’t find any info anywhere but does UGREEN have a surge protect ? I’m looking for a power strip or POWER outlet with a few outlets and 1-2 USB-C HIGH DELIVERY power for MacBook,iPad pro, etc. anyone have any recommendations ? I have an electric standup up desk with monitor arms . I think UGREEN offers some great performing options with thermal guard but I don’t like the fact that there is no surge protection. Thoughts , recommendations?
1:26 what LG Monitor is that? Edit: answered my own question, it's the LG Smart Monitor meant to compete with the Samsung M8/M7 Smart Monitor range, is there a review coming?
Great Video as usual, talking about the things that are really important for those who want to have an efficient desktop setup. I got an ultrawide LG monitor reviewed in another video (Fantastic! like a glove to my needs), and I just received the Enough desk Pad that looks a feels great. E does the best analysis on youtube.
I am thrilled to hear that...I am starting to feel very responsible as the channel grows. I do my best to be very objective and careful not to mislead people that might make a decision based on my recommendation. I am glad you like the pad as well. Feel free to DM me a picture of your setup with the pad (if you want, of course)
@@ThisIsE And you are doing great. It’s easy to find UA-camrs talking about their own setups for video editing and generic specs info. When you go deeper in your analysis, you bring info that is not in regular ads or reviews. Also, regular users have other needs. As an example, what would be a great setup for two computers? My wife has hers, I have mine. As a consultant sometimes I have also my client’s notebook with me… you gave me some ideas about how to customize my setup and solve the problem, but only because you bring more info than the other! So, thank you! I’ll DM you a picture. Why not? 😊
What ultra wide or just pretty wide monitor would you recommend for video editing and productivity that has usb-c PD and other usbs that I can connect storage to?
This video is great for me right now. I just ordered a Protractor desk from Manhattan Home Design and am trying to figure out the best way to adapt it to my pace and work style to make it as efficient as possible. Thanks so much for the recommendations!

Hi E. Instead of buying an arm for $300, buy yourself LG monitor with good arm for example 32UN880 which is about $500, so for $200 you get very good IPS 32" 4k display... I know, when you become a successful UA-camr you may be tempted to change your setup every week spending tons of money and telling us it's great for productivity, but please don't go this way :) stay with us on our planet... Show us things you've really used and which really brought a value to your daily work... All these fancy gadgets I see on UA-cam, they are beautiful and it's great to have well designed space, but what I've learned through all the years of working as developer, that these things do not determine how productive I am. Sometimes they are just a substitute for creativity...
So, i have an Acer X34 Predator monitor, and it looks like the Monitor arm he linked isnt usable with my monitor, but i cant seem to understand why? Can anyone help me understand or to mabe link a monitor arm that would work?
Don't invest on headphones with noise reduction if you for meating. You'll won't hear your kids, but we can. Also, your neighbors will hear you talk because you'll talk louder if you can't hear yourself. My recommendation is quite the opposite to be honest, buy some nice Open back Headphones. You'll know when your kids are playing around where they shouldn't and you'll know how load you'll talk.
Why would you pay more for the adjustable studio display then put it on the desk surface rather than then the shelf making the adjustable feature basically useless
I ordered the display and waited for it for half a year…long before this setup. Plus, I prefer having the flexibility in case I change and experiment with other layouts. It comes in very handy for standing sessions too.
You ever heard of personal preference. I'm people do what works for them and looks good to them not for you. No shade. Perfect example if you have a set up right now basic or advanced post I'm pretty sure we would say the same thing about yours but you shouldn't care and he shouldn't have explained hisself.
@@WargodFilms so it's your or his personal preference to buy an adjustable monitor for like 400 more then to put it so low you can't use that seems perfectly normal. It's just idiotic personal preference has nothing to do with just stupidity
I don't understand. You are talking about productivity but...what do you produce besides videos about things you have. No ofense but I don't understand what to take from this video or other videos like this. Just curious.
Before you blindly make assumptions he talks about his career in other videos. His content creation is a secondary aspect to what his normal job is. These aren’t just “things” he has and he is rarely sponsored by the companies he presents in these videos. Go watch some more of his content please.
Wait… so scripting, editing, and creating these videos entirely doesn’t require being productive? You severely undermine the amount of work and planning that creating a video with this amount of quality requires.
Yeah, a lot goes into these videos. Not only putting everything together to be able to showcase, but like you said, scripting, filming, recording the voiceover, editing the video and sound, color correcting, effects, overlays, etc. especially at the level he’s doing it. These videos are professional as all hell, informative, and enjoyable to watch. That’s probably why he has 120K subs and more to come. I personally love E’s videos. For people that undermine him, especially this dude, I’d love to see videos that are longer than 5 minutes with this level of quality and more than 28 subscribers.
I'm sorry, but the chair aspect is waaaaay overplayed. If you're having issues when in a chair, most likely your body is out of alignment from a lack of physical activity and/or prolonged sitting without simply standing and stretching for a minute...
Simple yet informative Desk Set-up guide. 👌
Getting the essentials right truly assists that improved work from home experience.
Glad it was helpful Angelo!
ThisIsE, you have the most useful and enjoyable channel for home based workers like me. Thank you for another great video.
Wow, thank you!
Great video, since working from home didn't realize how important your desktop really is. Chair, lightning etc. all so important these days.
Also just wow, the b-roll shots are getting better with every single video. It’s insane how much your production value has gone up seeing as you started with already some of the best content on UA-cam. Amazing video as always E!
Thanks a ton! 🙂
Great Chanel ! From France/Algeria
Ah, thanks! 🙂
Awesome video, man! Excited you try out your mousepad
I’m so excited for part 2. Some of these will definitely be borrowed and placed into my setup🤩
Thanks Rohit! It might come sooner than I planned it, because I am re-arranging the schedule last minute 🙂

Hi I’m really interested on the ENOUGH mouse pad..it is OUT Of Stock. Any waiting list. Please keep me posted when available. Thank you.
Hi Man, thank you for this video :) I would like to ask which is the best dimension for a desk? thank you :)
Make one on gaming and ipad
What are those castors? And are they non scratch for wood floors?
What do you think about a webcam? Nowadays we use it almost every week.
Nice video! Might I ask what carpet you have under the desk 5:08?
Check description
Another great video! Thank you
Enjoyed the video. Mind sharing what the foot rest brand is at the 9:49 mark
It's from IKEA...I don't remember the name Kyle.

The LG UltraWide is what I use, it was around $200 if I remember correctly and it is amazing. No need to spend any more than $200-300!

5:13 laugh at 13.500A, I hope it mean for surge protection not pass 13.5kA
necessity #1: Dual monitors
How where you able to get the New LG Smart monitor? Couldn't find it anywhere in Europe, also is there a review/comparison to the M7/M8 coming?

I know what you mean, but bottle helps drink more water + less chance of spills.
