I just finished replacing all my interior lights on a 2020 dodge ram and they are very bright. It wasnt the easiest but i got it done. Thanks lasfit.
Just completed this exact mod. It was definitely a must after viewing. Thanks for your video, I would have been scared to pull down on the front trim map lights without your guidance. Loving my 5th Gen RAM
Ive done the same thing with all interior lights. Amazon seller Fyre Flys sells the 15 piece kit for the 2019 ram. 2 map 1 dome 4 vanity 2 foot well 1 glove box 1 engine bay 2 3rd brake light and 2 license plate.
All for 20 bucks. Plus the plastic tool for install so you're not using metal on your plastic parts. Ive done 2 Hyundai Santa Fe's and my Ram Bighorn and have loved every one. Its a beautiful bright mod with never and issue with led bulbs. Good video!

Going to be doing this to my 2019 Rebel, thanks for showing me how to change the map lights. It's a shame that a truck that comes with exterior LED lights doesn't come with LED interior bulbs.
The upper cab lights outer lights are not LED on the Rebel

Just completed mine on Ram 1500. Didn’t get the extra bright LED light demonstrated in this video but the standard LED. Thank you! Lasfit has fast shipping and only paid $15 for map lights and $15 for dome. Make sure to test map lights first before you put everything back together. Going to order bed/cargo lights soon

Just a heads up to everyone who is tryna do this. There is little grooves to pop the lens off. The little flat piece fits in perfectly. That's why the grooves are there

@@sobreruedasmtb2135 nope. I even use a butter knife at times to pop lens off. Takes no more than a minute to change the bulb

thats like taking down a ceiling fan to replace the light bulbs.
I just take off the lenses. He really didn't use the groove meant to pop them off too lol

Glad I saw this, finally convinced me to order the bulbs for mine. My foot well lights are halogen, just need to find those bulbs now.

They are the same t10 lights as the map lights
Also there are bulbs under the dash on the driver and passenger side at your feet that are not leds yet!!!
Can I just pop the clear lense without having to bring down the whole casing

Thank you for the video, super helpful and the LasFit LEDs are very bright! was it just me or do they sit below the reflector in the map lights making the side LEDs pretty much useless?

Everything is made in china.. Even humans… We are all made in china, but assembled in our birth country…
Do not pull those lenses off, there is two clips on the circuit board that you push and allows complete access to the lights. Look at “LASFIT” video on it.
My 2019 Ram Lonestar came with LED interior lights.
Mine did not. I guess I'll be swapping them out.
Why pop the lens covers. Take the module off back and replace them. Way easier and cleaner!

I think my bighorn has the led interior lights. I have the level 2 and black appearance package. The interior light are white in color they don’t have the yellow hue not as bright as your replacement bulbs though
Thanks for this video. I had done the rear dome light, but was wondering about the map lights. This video made it a breeze. At first I was thinking why were you removing the entire panel but that question was quickly answered once I got to putting in the Lasfit lights. It does get tricky and having access to the back will ultimately save time.

Thanks for info, espec. lamp #s. Just to clarify...US Brand does not mean US made. Made in China is printed on back. The brightness comes from the lumens, not the Kelvin (K) color temperature. 6000K is white/blue , 5000K is midday sun (photo flash) 3200K is warm like old household bulb.
Anybody else tune in and do what he did step by step and then just rip it out after removing the 2 8mm bolts and break both of the clips he came back and removed?!?

I broke both... just screwed in the bolts and you can't even tell the clips aren't there.

Installed these today, dome light was loose. Contacts are smaller than factory bulb
They make different sizes. I had the same issue on my 4th gen. Lasfit sent me a slightly bigger bulb.

If you mean the ambient light, I was told it was integrated into it.
It’s suppose to be the 44mm ones bro for the dome light. I ordered these and they are too lose and on the website they direct you to the 44mm lights.

Just watched your video and was initially excited to hear you say they were made in the USA. Always looking for American products. However, after looking at their website, and a closer look at your video (especially 1:48 mark) I can see they’re made in China. Shoot.

Just got 5th gen ram a month and want to do this led swap. Great video very informative! I maybe mistaken but isn’t there a 3 bulb between the two lights you switched out? The bulb can be controlled by a dimmer knob next to the steering wheel? Is that middle bulb replaceable?
That middle bulb is referred to as a moon bulb. It is meant to be dim, as it's a passive light so you can read a map, or paper, what ever, under that bulb without turning on the front dome lights.
George Platt can that bulb also be changed to something brighter or different shade of white?

That's weird, try taking the bulb back out, and squeezing the prongs on the holder itself to make it a tighter fit..

Mine does the exact same thing. It’s like the bulb is toooooo small for prongs but the size should be the same
Have the same issue with my ends up flipping over and facing upward. Still have useable light but gonna try pinching the clips tighter

Should also to the foot well lights. I did mine in red to match the rebel interior. Also your video is much better the lasfit how to videos. They are terrible.

i cringed watching you damage your lense on the second light with the metal screw driver, got to use plastic pry tools for stuff like this or wrap in a cloth.
I didn't damage anything during this install..
