    You have been a blessing! I was ask to make a butterfly for a lady turning 94 on her birthday. I have never made a butterfly and thank you for giving me the confidence to make it☮️❤️🦋

    Your attention to detail and then translating that to the techniques of creating this wing is wonderful!

    WOW. My chin is still on the floor. That is just gorgeous. Maybe someday I'll be able to do that but I am so new to polymer clay that I think it will take a LONG time before I can do something like this. You have been blessed immensely and I thank you for sharing your blessing with all of us!

      Thank you Tori ♥️ I reckon with a little practice, you'll be able to do it 😊😊

    Would have love to see it reduced and finished in a full butterfly piece

      Sometimes it depends on the amount of time I have to be honest but I'll bear this in mind for future videos - thank you 💙

    I'd like to see the completed butterfly. Is there a part 2?

    • @MidnightButterflyDesigns
      @MidnightButterflyDesigns  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks for watching - there isn't a part 2, these are just how to make the cane for the wings currently. I'm taking a break from making videos but there may be full "making the butterfly" videos at some point 😊

    Beautiful! Have you ever worked with cane benders and cane caps? If not you should check out Teresa Pandora Salgado. She, like yourself, is an amazing polymer clay artist and has been doing it for years. I aspire to be as good!

      I have always meant to get cane caps to be honest - it would save me some waste for sure!! I've seen people use pringle tops for this purpose too. I've never seen cane benders though - I will check it out - thank you!

      @@MidnightButterflyDesigns you’re very welcome. Pandora started out using Pringle can lids and the like, however, getting the clay off of that type of plastic can be a nightmare, which is why I’d suggest using acrylic, which is what the caps are made of. Have fun!!!

    Quelle est l'épaisseur des ailes de votre papillon. Il est magnifique merci

    • @MidnightButterflyDesigns

      Une fois terminé, les ailes ont une épaisseur d’environ 1 à 2 mm. J’espère que cela vous aidera! Désolé si mon français est mauvais!

    Can you roll these out to pretty small?

    • @MidnightButterflyDesigns
      @MidnightButterflyDesigns  8 місяців тому

      Yes you can, to teeny tiny sizes! A lot of people make dolls house size butterflies this way.
