    Cameraman did a great job. Filming something like this seems easy until one tries it.

    Hi, I sooo love your videos! I'm trying to 'date' a chair I'm doing. The clue is a few old tacks left in it. Can you please tell me more or less when upholsterers switched to staples instead of tacks? Thank you!

    Will construction style heavy duty staple gun and staples work if I don’t have an air compressor for the numatic staple gun and don’t want to tack? Will it hold up

    May I re-use my old horse hair that came out of my chair?

    What would you use if you can't find horse hair for the stuffing before the muslin

    Hi. I really appreciate your videos. My question is what are other options for the rubberized horse hair? The deck padding I have been able to find is only 24". I'm thinking I need 34". Would I be able to sew it? I am attempting an 8 way tie on a circa 1940's victorian sofa. Please help. Thank you.

    What does stitching the roll to the horse hair do, or are you stichting it to the burlap?

    thank you...Horsehair!!!!..you made it look so simple....the muslin leaves a clean finish....Is it preferred over burlap....Muslin seems to stretch better than burlap...Did you use the synthetic horsehair layer for added stability?...was that your creation? 😁....Can we order these products (horsehair and synthetic horsehair ) from you?

      Thanks for the comment Linda! I wish that was my creation! Rubberized horsehair is a fairly new product, if we didn't use that, we would need about 3x more horse hair! For supplies just email me at upholsteryonbroadway@gmail.com so i can give you our code to use for the supplier!

    Another great video in this fantastic detailed series. 2 questions. 1. Is this the place to use calico or duck in place of Muslim? 2. How much are the springs compressed now at this point? Thanks and can’t wait for the classes videos!

    • @UpholsteryonBroadway
      @UpholsteryonBroadway  5 років тому

      Thanks Jeanine! I don't recommend using those products, Muslin has been my go to for years because of its looser weave. Spring compression is complicated! Thats a perfect question for and upcoming video....Stay tuned!

      Oh ok thanks I’ll get some muslin then. Looking forward to learning about spring compression later then.
