OH WOW! I am so glad to have come across this explanation. I went to an Estate Sale with my wife for a Nice small table in Bell Mead $$$ area, Anyway , While i'm there the sales person asked me if i was interested in the couch for sale i was sitting in ( it was ok to sit on the sofas i would "NEVER" sit even on backyard furniture unless it was ok as per the owner) well , i was interested in the living room set , BUT "price" well it was 1,800.00 it looked Very Nice but springs were hurting , (long story short) she asked the owner if it doesn't sell can she give it away? well i received a phone call on my way home from the sale to return and retrieve the furniture. I wanted to fix it but did not know what type of spring system it had . it's the drop in coil spring set up.. Where can i purchase these springs and DIY it thank u.
Great question and congrats on the couch find! We found results by googling "replacement coil springs for furniture" which should take you to online suppliers that will offer replacement springs as well as other materials necessary to refurbish your new couch. Hope this helps!
I’m making a bed frame with hopefully a drop in coil unit or webbing stretched and stapled to the frame. I’m wondering which may be better. I plan to cover the whole thing with high quality foam topper material. ( Are drop in coil units available for purchase?)
Now you can tell that Gen Z editing. This recent college grad thanks you for that 😂. I've learned a lot in the search for my first good sofa
And we are thankful to our recent college grad for providing such engaging graphics 🤣
Great info and editing
Great video! Thank you. Graphics are fun too!
Thank you! Our video editor will be glad to hear that the hard work is getting noticed!
I don’t think I could have watch this without falling asleep , unless it was edited the way it was 😂.

Great video, very useful. Have you ever dealt with small coil type springs in the arm of an armchair?
I cant say that we ever have. Typically you want the arm to be a firm piece for stability.
