I noticed some new comments that got this in their recommended and wondered where these characters are from. this is MC and 707 from a mobile dating game called Mystic Messenger!!! and this video is based on 707's route. But you guys can't play his route unless you collected a certain amount of hourglasses if I remember correctly. Thanks for watching!!

The reason he's actually like that in his route, is so you'll remember him. He knows the game resets. (A few of the characters broke the fourth wall) He also wants to let you go, so you can be happy. For instance, if you run away with 707, you get the bad ending. But, if you run away with Saeran, you get the good ending. He's not ignoring you to be a jerk, he's doing it out of love for you.
