Silverback gorilla Haoko turned 31 years old on August 21, 2024. Haoko is the father of four, and the older brother of Shabani who is famous as "handsome gorilla". Haoko always watches over his troop gorillas. His son Riki loves him so much and often comes to play with him. Baby gorilla Sumomo is not afraid of Haoko at all, and comes close to him to play nearby. Haoko loves Momoko and often gazes at and displays to her. He is good at making a straw nest and is adorable when he lies down to rest.
