What a coincidence, Simon - just turned a 14" ash salad bowl on my midi pro - only just fitted on! One thing I noticed was not only how hard the ash was but how the turnings were. The grain was a bit wilder than your piece. Mine took a lot longer than yours though. Great video.

I saw you used what looked like a collet handle to swap bowl gouge ends. Which one is it, and from whom do you get your two ended gouges?
