I cried for this man. I was recently hospitalised with oedema, which included scrotal oedema. At its worst, it was like trying to walk with a baby's head between my legs. With treatment, I lost 37kg. How this man coped, I can not begin to imagine. Sending him blessings from England.
Fantastic! The Drs did a sterling job, but his family (who quite obviously are devoted to him) did him proud. Well done to everyone involved with this gentleman and his tumour. 👏💪👏
Yes, they did a sterling job lying through their teeth, pretending the man had a tumor instead of what it really was, elephantiasis caused by worms that live in standing water containing human filth. They did not do a great job hiding this condition from medical providers such as myself. I left a better description of his issue in a dedicated post. Look for it and be shocked
That man's mother has earned a medal in her diligent work to help her son. The families work to do all the therapy at home significantly made the surgery workable. Glad to hear he will be able to work again, as well as walk. Thank you for the hospital staff willing to take on an unusually difficult condition.
Note: I have since seen a full-length documentary about this man. He had 'filarial lymphadema.' *_This was no tumor._*_ This was elephantiasis which is caused by parasites called 'filarial worms,' more specifically, nematodes, that live in stagnant water from...human filth._ These critters burrow into your skin and block your lymphatic system, causing the fluid to pool in your extremities like this. It's almost shocking to see how this particular case study was so misrepresented by the editors of this documentary. I can only speculate, but it seems like they didn't want to share the more gory details of his case, but they were the producers of the longer documentary, so I can't imagine why they would feel the need to be so evasive in this one.
What a blessing to have ANOITED DOCTORS who care and performed this life changing. This man was BLESSED with an devoted mother and extended family. My he continue to have optimal health and recovery IN THE NAME OF JESUS AMEN
I hope they did NOT tell him he's cured! That kind of Lymphedema Never goes away, because it's a result of the interruption of the flow of lymph fluid, by scar tissue, or the absence of lymph nodes needed to process the fluid. Since this is an anatomical condition, you can't "cure" it, you can only manage it. I suspect this man needs medical grade compression stockings to be worn 24/7, possibly for the rest of his life. If he's lucky, he can get to where he can keep the edema under control with daytime compression stockings, and daily MLD.
The* previous unqualified surgeons probably* just wanted to sample his tissues. You hold onto that leg!! The knee is operated on often so this is a three month recovery to be able to live life again. Thank God they took him to the md. More of these please
Amrita Hospital is one of the top hospitals not just in Kerala but in entire India. Amrita hospital offers free treatment for poor people, even without insurance.
I thought it was a lymphadema which is actually a tumour of fat. Usually people with lymphadema are morbidly obese. Im so happy he was able to get this surgery done.
Sounds like a parasite, Filariodidia family I think there's two or three that can cause this? The testicle- swelling and growth of legs like this, as well as fever and illness sounds pretty indicative to me 🤔 Anyway, even if it's not that worm in this case, it's still a really important parasite that people around the world need access to treatment for - when people stop being able to work and provide for themselves and families they can lose everything and getting a leg and illness like this is absolutely debilitating.
I think it's not some kind of filariasis...it's more like lymphedema Some of my family members had this & it suddenly occurred... the foot mass increase every time the fever comes
You religious nuts are unbelievable..your 'god' had nothing to do with it... The doctors removed the tumour.... If you want to mention your god...ask why he allowed the tumour to grow in the first place..and caused that young man so much grief...😢

So pleased for this guy and his family
The fact that we live in a world where someone is left suffering for 30 years is beyond inhumane 😮😢

And that's why he has almost identical bilateral lymphadema?
I’ve seen this doctor on another video. He’s very good at what he does.
Top doctors and a supportive family a recipe for success when your ill.
Wonderful. I hope he is having a beautiful life❤
God bless ALL the Dr and any hand that helped

Poor man. Damn. All of us who don't have to deal with things like this are SO fortunate.
they should have kept him in the hospital until he fully recovered, transferring such responsibilities to unprofessional family members is a huge risk
Professional is an attitude that comes from experience, which many nurses do* not possess

What kind of medical section do you work in? As I'm sure his surgeon and specialists will know what they are doing.
Tumor... different ..
Thanks for all the doctors
God bless you all the Doctors who helped Sai Dalvi in his operation.
Thank you Drs for saving this mans' life. That was a huge apron and a lot of lymphodema
I hope he gets the help he needs! ❤
I would have preferred that they show the operation so that more knowledge could be provided about the problem.
Glad the doctor was able to help him
Remarkable doctors!!😊

Why did he wait so long to have this tumor removed, i wonder.
Good luck dr
Gosh, what a radical idea: he's got a huge tumor on his leg, has had it for 30 years. Hey, why don't we cut it off?
Lmaoooo the sass 😂

Just curious, how did this situation not get caught/addressed before it got this large?!?
Probably inadequate medical care, Sorry he had to suffer many years.
Why took so long??
Wonder what he was doing for 30 years. Didn't he see a doctor
