Hey Shad. You and I both know it takes many years to collect these gems. There's so much good music out there... like New Wave & Synth-pop that you may never have the time or money to collect. Sometimes you just have to get lucky. On the Pet Shop Boys, I would like to get "Suburbia" and "Always on my Mind". A few more from Depeche Mode would be great (but the prices are soaring). Thanks for watching, my friend!

Hi Papa Luke. I love that you DIG the Crate Digging episodes. You get to see some 12" singles that are missing from my never-ending collection. I may post another video, but it won't be multiple releases from groups (maybe 2, possibly 3 at the most). Stay tuned, my man!

Thank you very much! A little over 20 years of re-collecting and learned so much about music in general. Especially from the Vinyl Community.

Hey I just remember the track the Vandals-lady killer, look it up and also Pop will eat itself- Defcon one, it has the sample with funkytown in it you'll love it. The doomsday powermix.

Amazing releases over the years by the Pet Shop Boys; more gems I would like to collect from this group. West End Girls was played at all the clubs and mainstream radio; I knew they were going to be Legendary one day (man, that sound is so iconic). Appreciate you tuning in to my channel and leaving a great comments as always.

How are the mixes on those Lullaby & Alice Every day 12" mixes? I don't have those. That "Bottom Line" 12" pressing is interesting. Never seen that one. Mine's on Columbia. That Xymox "obsession" club mix is so good. I never get sick of that. Love Sandra too. Those records you showed were the soundtrack to my late teens clubbing. Cheers!

Hey Mark! Alice Everyday 12" mix really exceeded my expectations - a nice record to collect and play. Not sure about Lullaby; haven't played that vinyl too much (but I need to). The Bottom Line is my teenage clubbing song; brings back all those memories. I'm the same way with "Obsession" by Xymox - always great. I got to say the CD version, original 12" extended version, and the B-side to Imagination - ALL DIFFERENT. I rather the extended version. And I can't say enough for Sandra; so lucky to have (4) 12" singles and her CD which is getting more rare and difficult to collect. Always a pleasure, Mark!

As a teenager, I kept excellent care of my collection keeping the hype stickers and shrink wrap intact. I eventually had to sell them all for pennies on the dollar. I’ve spent the last 15 years getting them back. But, finding them in NM-M is a challenge and an expense. How do you do it? Looks like the majority of your collection is minty. Are they the originals that you bought decades ago?

Hello again, my man! I'm the exact same as you... sold all my records or gave them away to DJ friends. Started re-collecting again in '98. My early days was '82 to '88 and the price was $4.99 or (3) for $12 - spent money for sure (for a kid). My preference is definitely NM condition or almost NM (in the VG++ range). But I hate warped records - so disappointing. More out there these days (seems like 50% chance of a minor edge warp or affects the sound when you listen really close). The way I do it is stick with a reputable seller on Discogs and make an offer on quality records (save on shipping). Great talk... music is so important!

Thanks for tuning in, my friend. I followed your channel several years ago; I may have left a few comments back in the day (it's been a long time). Yeah, New Wave and Synth-pop is kind of my vibe now; taking a break from the Electro & Freestyle (got so many now - time for a change). Looking forward to checking out your video for sure - keep a watch out for me (very soon). Stay tuned for more videos (got some great New Wave & Synthpop gems coming to my doorstep this week). I'll post (2) separate videos - going to be some good stuff. You're not alone - Stay active in the Vinyl Community if you can. SO MUCH FUN!!!

@@klassicjam you're welcome sir. They were the band that tony wilson of factory records didnt promote much. Tony concentrated too much on new order and joy division where in fact, the wake were equally talented and their songs are just as timeless. Check out these other bands, 1. The orchids 2. The field mice 3. Northern picture library(alaska lp) 4. Blueboy (of sarah records unisex lp). All these bands drew their inspiration or were influenced by the wake
