Hi, my name is Philip McGhee. I have a gaming channel called "EgoisticMilk02". I love when Snake and a guard are basically nose to nose but because they have severe tunnel vision he remains undetected.

The Metal Gear Timeline operates on the fact that Venom played poorly and never invested in his base defense. Imagine if Snake tried sneaking in with just fatigues when the base was at like Lv.30 or higher, Snake would be caught in seconds.
They should totally remake the first two games for PS4 and X-Box One. That'd be sweeeet!

Sadly, Big Boss must've been a very,very poor writer for taking into account Solid Snake's inexperience. Now look what the poor kid did. He blew up most of the Outer Heaven stage and got Venom and a good portion of the staff killed

Let's make Metal Gear even weirder than it already is: The real Big Boss died in MG1 and the fake one managed to get surgery to remove the horn (he didn't die because of the technology in the 2000s) and he's the one who appears in MG2 and MGS4!!!!!!!

+peter müller #Spoilers Yep the Big Boss that you play as in MGSV (Phantom Big Boss) is killed. The real Big Boss sends Snake to kill the fake Boss. The mission that the real Big Boss sends you on is to distract everyone from his master plan that happens in MG2 but snake kills him (; (No not really he dies at the end of MGS4).

In fact, Big Boss helping Venom, sending him an infomation etc.
He sent a rookie(Solid Snake) to Outer Heaven, but he did not expect that a rookie will go so far as to kill Venom Snake and destroy Outer Heaven.

It always gives me anxiety when you're within their "vision cone" but no alarm is set off
In this game (Metal Gear 1) enemies have a single line infront of them as vision .
So when Solid Snake's hitbox has contact that single line of sight the alarm goes off and the alert mode activates .

@GenGUNZY Yes, now we know that this is not the Big Boss we've that it was. This was Venom Snake being the guy who we fought in the game while the real Big Boss was supposedly talking to Snake on the radio (or so I believe since it would make a whole lot of more sense).
This reminds me of when I used to avoid the fuck out of all the trainers' lines of sight in the viridian forest in Pokemon Yellow

Having the ability to save your game wasn't very common back then, people were used to sitting down for a while to play a game.

Camp Master Noob yeah it is pretty usual for the people who love to play Metal Gear like it's meant to be played. I remember playing MGS4 with only Tranquilizer gun (I use Mosin Nagant and non-lethal rounds of Shotgun for boss levels only) and still at the end of the game I would have so many guns and ammunition rounds which I never used.

Wait I'm confused. They said the Metal Gear's developer was Dr. Drago Pettrovich Madnar. But in Metal Gear Solid 3, Granin hinted that he was designing a revolutionary missile attack system, he said the Shagohod paled in comparison. He was basically no shit hinting that HE was the developer of the Metal Gear. So who handed off his work to Drago after his death?
Huey Emmerich probably was the one. He is the one who made Sahelantropus and Zeke, and later on his son made Rex. Seeing how things ended up with Diamond Dogs, it is most likely he gave them to him, wich made Drago a target for Outer Heaven.
So thats how he sounds like !
