When I was a Christian I almost felt like I didn’t have to take any action. As long as I said I was sorry I thought God just forgave me. But I still always felt shameful and my sins always got worse. But now that I have reverted to Islam alhamdulillah (even tho I still struggle with certain sins) but whenever I commit a sin it motivates me more to change.

Yeah, I used to be a Christian and would attend a certain megachurch. They'd always bring out a new Christian that claimed to have experienced the presence of God, extreme peace, and a huge weight lifted off their shoulders as soon as they converted or when they were first exposed to Christianity. I used to always feel very sad that I never experienced anything like that while praying to Jesus.

Point two: if the quran was from Satan then the day of judgement wouldn't have been mentioned, cuz reminding people about the horror of day of judgement for every faasiq (evil people) makes people fear death and everything after that, which results into worshipping Allah. Point three: the message was revealed on someone with a pure soul, the Prophet saw was known as the trust-worthy, he couldn't read but he used his brain, Satan would've chosen who is popular and easy to deceive to spread his falsehood faster. Blaspheming Jesus (peace be upon him) isn't a sin, it is Kufr (disbelieve). Meaning that to affirm and recognize his prophet-hood and character, is an aqeedah (creed) requirement and apart of the Pillars of Faith. So therefore, one cannot blaspheme any of Allah's (subhanawata' ala) prophets and maintain their Islam. Jesus's (peace be upon him) prophet-hood and noble character is mentioned with multitude in the Quran, to deny or blaspheme him is KUFR. There is no doubt or differences of opinion on that.

I think, as long as you teach the children the real tawheed, sirah of the prophet, some fiqh on the fardh, the Quran and the sunnah, and let them live the Mukmin life, while you yourself show good examples as a mukminah, there is no way ur child will find any religion better than Islam if ur child is really seeking the truth. The point is to introduce our children to the real Islam, one which our prophet Muhammad teach. 13:20 One thing I realised when I was a Christian before I was guided to Islam and Allah is that the worshippers were mostly elderly and I visted many different Churches but this guy felt the need to thoroughly express (he mentioned it 2 - 3 times in a very short space of time) that there were "all these kids young adults" I'm sorry but even as an ex-Christian who respects other faiths and its adherents can't back that claim up. Truth is, Christianity has mostly elderly adherents and at this rate, within 20 years or so, it could be a minority religion like Judaism or Sikhism which means Islam will be by far the largest faith globally and this is why this propaganda is being spread by Christians. I know Allah guided me to the true way of life and the peace I have felt ever since has been amazing and I know that whatever I do won't be enough but I try my best. One thing in Christianity is that Jesus (pbuh) died for our sins whereas in Islam, we are responsible for our own actions which we will have to account for (you make what you want from that but I felt that is a cop-out). Yeah, I used to be a Christian and would attend a certain megachurch. They'd always bring out a new Christian that claimed to have experienced the presence of God, extreme peace, and a huge weight lifted off their shoulders as soon as they converted or when they were first exposed to Christianity. I used to always feel very sad that I never experienced anything like that while praying to Jesus.

Blaspheming Jesus (peace be upon him) isn't a sin, it is Kufr (disbelieve). Meaning that to affirm and recognize his prophet-hood and character, is an aqeedah (creed) requirement and apart of the Pillars of Faith. So therefore, one cannot blaspheme any of Allah's (subhanawata' ala) prophets and maintain their Islam. Jesus's (peace be upon him) prophet-hood and noble character is mentioned with multitude in the Quran, to deny or blaspheme him is KUFR. There is no doubt or differences of opinion on that.

One thing I realised when I was a Christian before I was guided to Islam and Allah is that the worshippers were mostly elderly and I visted many different Churches but this guy felt the need to thoroughly express (he mentioned it 2 - 3 times in a very short space of time) that there were "all these kids young adults"
I'm sorry but even as an ex-Christian who respects other faiths and its adherents can't back that claim up.
Truth is, Christianity has mostly elderly adherents and at this rate, within 20 years or so, it could be a minority religion like Judaism or Sikhism which means Islam will be by far the largest faith globally and this is why this propaganda is being spread by Christians.
I know Allah guided me to the true way of life and the peace I have felt ever since has been amazing and I know that whatever I do won't be enough but I try my best.

Yousef Omar So firstly I am definitely not saying that no evangelical Christians do it, but since I myself have in the past year started to attend an evangelical church I can say no one I have come across has claimed to ever have been a Muslim. And until I say this video I have never seen anyone doing this. Also he mentioned the sola fide although it is a Protestant doctrine it is really one that a lot of people in the church still believe now days. Also the Adam and Eve many people take the Old Testament to be metaphors. Although some creationists do still agree you don’t find many in the church. I really didn’t understand when they spoke about Christians justifying bad actions with god loves me, or Jesus died for me. Me and all the Christians I know have definitely never taken this approach. I felt that the comment about the presence of God was a bit insensitive, kind of invalidating this kind of religious experience. Also just because we believe that God is three in one we are still a monotheistic religion just as humans can be seen to be the mind body and soul, God to us in the father son and Holy Spirit.
