Really appreciate the daily uploads. Helps pass the time when I'm not fishing! Tight lines Cal
Thanks Nick
Thank you for all the help! I live in the Central Valley and have a few Great Lakes to fish and I’m looking forward to suing all the stuff you’re teaching, I also invested in some of your products!
Great info for me. Most of my trolling is of the toplining variety. Love the "live TV" aspect of your vids.
Great video.. Could I use this same set up if I want to use say a trolling fly and wiggle disc
Yes you can!
We use a maybe easier idea for adding variable weight.. just add a dropshot weight of your choosing directly into the snap swivel
That will absolutely work! That’s why fishing is awesome, there are always multiple solutions to a problem and anglers are a creative lot that like to tinker👍
Thanks for the tips ! Here in Idaho a shallow running trout or pretty much any fish will probably be food for the ever present Osprey, pelican or bald eagle.
We have lots of Bald Eagles at our lakes now!
Thanks for the onfo.
Great tip about weight segments, why didn't I think of that? lol
Hi Cal in a power boat how much distance should you keep from other boats proper etiquette
Cal we have been using 4 rods in boat..lead core at 15 ft salmon rod or spinning rod at 25 ft. This is Berryessa. Not having luck on top or under chop. Trying to use a little weight on a rudder to stay down to 25ft. The problem is I'm guessing on depth and have gotten snagged. Don't have a down rigger. Watching video with your sliding egg sinkers
Is there a formula like 1/4 once = 10 ft. the rudder works just can't get accurate . Larry from napa... need to invent something so I can buy more stuff
you did not mention the weight of your leader when toplining. It looked lighter than the main line you had on which was 10# mono. Also, is the leader Fluorocarbon?
I'll answer that in video...
Tis the season
