Just have each class has 3 separate perk packages that changes how they play within their class. Like a anti tank assault, has more explosive, or a front line assault has more ammo, and is a little faster and mobile. Etc. That way you have options to play how you wish

I want that Battlefield 3 tone back. Soldiers getting stuck in and getting shit done. More so than 4, which in my opinion felt more Hollywood than 3. The Delta Force multiplayer kinda killed my interest in it as a Battlefield competitor.

One thing they should bring back from BF4 is how you enter and exit vehicles. Climbing up onto a jet and taking off from the run way was pretty cool. Same with the heli. Spawning into vehicles takes away from the immersion and is quite boring.
I never played battlefield for campaign unless it forced me to and honestly I wasn't happy about it. I play it for the multiplayer. The battles. Seems like a mistake. They need to focus on their hardcore fans. The one's that made them.

I don't understand why is it only now they are doing casting calls for the game where being fit for animations and certain dialogs are required, since it's only been 4 months since the final season 7 of battle pass? Eeeehhh feels thin. I'm still not convinced they're going back to old school classes. There is too much potential money to be made selling skins, and EA wants maximum $$$. If we're at all lucky, it will be classes but a *Battlefield V* implementation of them. Here’s my take. I think that article is right, there will be a more realism in this game. 2042 was all colorful specialist and future tech and the community didn’t like it. However if you go to 2042 portal what do you see. You see milsim servers, tarkov is doing horrible but the more gritty realistic games like gray zone warfare taking a bunch of players with them and allot of money that EA presumably wants. Battlefield needs to make money and this is EA we’re talking about let’s not kid ourselves they will have micro transactions and skins probably. Do I see this more realistic approach helping, maybe 🤷 bf3 was a pretty gritty and realistic with its sound design of cussing and the amazing suppression system (don’t try to tell me it was bad), if they take this approach and still keep it arcadey they will have a shot but will they?
Whatever they do, I hope they don't try to copy any aspect of CoD. I liked the old single player campaigns of CoD a lot, but for me the multiplayer of CoD is just a kids game. Admittedly DICE's Reputation is now on the line and expectations are going to be set very high and low at the same time. Personally I will not buy the next battlefield game. I want the Anonymous I don't want features being shown... Surprise us for once and not give out too much details like you did 2042. Strict Non-disclosure signed Beta tests. NO public Tests until the game is balanced enough that tests are established from the inside. However, I have a prediction that they will 100% go back to the customization of the 4 Classes like they did before. "Specialists" will not be included as the 'Super Soldier Captain America" Vibe is cliche & Stupid. Nobody is going to feel like they can change the tide of battle if "EVERYONE" is the same damn character. there is no uniqueness. This is why the 4 Soldiers "Grunts" are personality by customization. If they bring back the specialists, then no, it's just not worth the money or time. I hated the specialists in BF2042 that I quit playing it. I like the generic soliders in BF2, BF3 and BF4. It fit perfectly and had a feeling of satisfaction and was grounded with a specific role instead of abilities. I'm just so tired of forced stories and forced characters.

Eeeehhh feels thin. I'm still not convinced they're going back to old school classes. There is too much potential money to be made selling skins, and EA wants maximum $$$. If we're at all lucky, it will be classes but a *Battlefield V* implementation of them. Trust me, I want the old system with factions back, but EA wants to sell cosmetics and pack _Battle Passes_ with content to sell premium progressions.
Here’s my take. I think that article is right, there will be a more realism in this game. 2042 was all colorful specialist and future tech and the community didn’t like it. However if you go to 2042 portal what do you see. You see milsim servers, tarkov is doing horrible but the more gritty realistic games like gray zone warfare taking a bunch of players with them and allot of money that EA presumably wants. Battlefield needs to make money and this is EA we’re talking about let’s not kid ourselves they will have micro transactions and skins probably. Do I see this more realistic approach helping, maybe 🤷 bf3 was a pretty gritty and realistic with its sound design of cussing and the amazing suppression system (don’t try to tell me it was bad), if they take this approach and still keep it arcadey they will have a shot but will they?

Whatever they do, I hope they don't try to copy any aspect of CoD. I liked the old single player campaigns of CoD a lot, but for me the multiplayer of CoD is just a kids game. All that strafing and those idiotic costumes, you might as well call it fortnite.
I just want a modern battlefield with a nice gaming experience like the old games. No fancy skins, no shiny objects dangling from your weapon, just a modern battlefield. And please, no specialists. Or at least different ones for both teams. It just makes no sense to have the same ones in both factions.

Plus companies like Sweet Baby Inc, Black Rock and Vanguard ruining the game industry is part of a bigger agenda that more people need to wake up too.
Unfortunately it’s not happening quickly enough. If MSM for example never lied they could help in a fight to crush Black Rock, Vanguard and Sweet Baby Inc. However since they lie 99% of the time just so they can sell a narrative to the gullible and weak minded. Only way we can rid video games of characters being designed to please Black Rock, Vanguard and Sweet Baby Inc is by not buying games that push an agenda.
And if refusing to buy a woke games affects multiple publishers & developers ESG score to the point. Companies and people lose their jobs, revenue and damages reputation. Followed by closure, Good. They didn’t need to go down this road. But they chose this path. Anyway I hope enough people voice their concern so specialists that are being designed to please the overlords/globalists are scrapped before the game releases. And if removing specialists results in the game being delayed. I’m happy to wait since Battlefield is one of my all time favourite franchises.
Lastly since I’ve been playing since BF1942. Deep down I hate to see Battlefield lose more players. The industry needs a Battlefield to return to form and crush BF2042 to show the industry. Having a game that eventually steered away from wokeness can sell millions of copies after steering away from the influence of Sweet Baby Inc, Vanguad and Black Rock.

Like several BF campaigns in the past, I will not be playing the new one. They have never been all that great and seems like a huge waste of resources to me, but whatever. Some people want it so knock yourselves out! Hopefully, they will not be bringing specialists to the next game. But I guarantee they will be bringing skins back. So many of you can still play dress up with your soldiers. Again, a huge waste of time as far as I'm concerned, but it's a little cash cow for EA so, I'm sure that will be in the game. I have been hyped for every release of BF but I have to say, I'm not too confident after 2042. We'll see.

Looking through a Marketing standpoint: Battlefield 7 as we will call it: Will learn from the mistakes and not release to the public like it did 2042.
2042 is enjoyable and really rough launch & Bugs, Glitches that overall discouraged the game play.
The new battlefield that I predict is going to go back to the Battlefield 4 age with modern weapons. A little more realistic capabilities, But will not have a Campaign like prior ones.
Even when you go back and play battlefield 4 / 2042 You can see that battlefield 4 had a lot better mechanics and balances that people can easily get back into and enjoy the formula.
Admittedly DICE's Reputation is now on the line and expectations are going to be set very high and low at the same time. Personally I will not buy the next battlefield game. I want the Anonymous I don't want features being shown... Surprise us for once and not give out too much details like you did 2042. Strict Non-disclosure signed Beta tests. NO public Tests until the game is balanced enough that tests are established from the inside.
However, I have a prediction that they will 100% go back to the customization of the 4 Classes like they did before. "Specialists" will not be included as the 'Super Soldier Captain America" Vibe is cliche & Stupid. Nobody is going to feel like they can change the tide of battle if "EVERYONE" is the same damn character. there is no uniqueness. This is why the 4 Soldiers "Grunts" are personality by customization. Also, Semi-Realism. I'd like to see larger scaled battles... Similar to Squad or Hell let loose, Maybe War Thunder if we can compare...
Simulation does not have to be over complicated, But enough realism that makes sense for specific abilities. Weapons do the Base damage as they are and does not need adjusting. (That should already be done before-hand) ~ Weapons have different characteristics for the job. "Headshots" are Headshots.
