Hi there, yes I am still using and will continue to. My water parameters are where I like them. You just have to find the dosage that works for your specific tank.
Love the look of your system! That leather in the middle is amazing! Just started All For Reef in my 525XL a couple days ago. How much are you currently dosing daily? Do you have to dose any extra calc or mag to keep levels up? Also, with your Nero's, do you have any issues with the magnet holding on through the thickness of the glass?
Hey Reefphreak! I just started to dose some mag as I want the levels up to around 1500.. just my preference. I am currently dosing AFR 26 mil's a day. My Nero's haven't had any issues on holding the glass. They have not moved at all. Are yours? I am using Nero 5's.
@@My525XLRedSeaReefer Cool. I don’t have Nero’s yet. Just looking at switching out my Jebao OWs. Right now I’m up to 35ml per day of AFR trying to get stable alk. It’s getting close.
I am using it on a nano but looking to start using it on my RedSea 170 and obviously you have much larger tank so my question is how is it holding up now?
Hi there, so far so good. My parameters are steady and consistent. I will continue to use it as long as I keep the consistency. It is very convenient to just dose 1 product. I adjusted the amount of Bio Magnesium with the DYI kit to bring my Mag up to 1480-1500. Just my preference and corals seem to do well. Hope this helps.
Hi there, hard for me to say as I have not tried the balling method. I recently went the DIY rout with the 4 compounds that make up all-for-reef and it is certainly a lot cheaper than buying the premixed stuff.
Glad to hear everything is doing good! How do you have your Neros setup? Got mine on random right now, but like the sway you have. I assume it is pulse, but how many seconds did you do?
Thanks josh! Yes I have them on pulse for a good portion of the day. they are set to on 500ms then off 50ms. Seems to work well and I get the flow I was looking for. Hope this helps :)
Hi there. Those little guys are blue-green chromis. They always seem to be hanging out in the corners until I either approach the tank or it's feeding time.
I lol @ all the equipment these guys buy. Wet dry, skimmer and a heater. Add coral vital and use carbon and that’s all it takes. Well lights ofcourse! But no need for all that fancy stuff.
Do you still like the all fort reef? I am trying it out starting tomorrow.

@@Reefphreak Good stuff! I found smaller increments in AFR worked well until you stabilize

Could I put one capful off liquid just for reef in my 6 foot b
Ang i do waterchanges weekly cheers
I would read the directions. First you should do tests and see what your parameters are. No point in dosing if you don't need to.
Nice video,I liked to much, but in your opinion what’s is more expansive to use,all for reef or balling method?
Thanks a lot,
Best regards from Brazil

Great update man. What kind of Carbon and gfo are using for the nyos media?
Thank you for watching! I am just using the stuff sold in bulk at my LFS. Seems to work just as good as the named brand stuff. No complaints.
Glad to hear everything is doing good!

Hi, its a strange behaviour that the damsells hide in the corner.

I am always tempted by hi-tech stuff though in regards to anything LOL. Doesn't mean it's better...
@@My525XLRedSeaReefer no it’s not all you need is wet dry, skimmer, heater and lights.
