- Cons Ambassador Jake Johnson recently spent some time in Malmö, Sweden where he hooked up with fellow Cons rider Pontus Alv. They shot this little film based around a DIY pole jam they made together whilst celebrating Jakes favorite sneaker, the Weapon Skate.

After what happened to Pappalardo I think it is very strange seeing both Pontus and Jake on Cons since both of them pretty much are spokesmen for anti-corporate skate companies

People talk about the incident with Pappalardo like he was a top tier skater producing consistent footage. The fact of the matter is that he isn't marketable anymore. It's totally fucked that CONS told him that his shoe wasn't selling well, and so he (allegedly) did not receive any royalties. But, getting kicked off is a different story.
I'm more upset that Ethan Fowler is off the team.
Plus, is nobody giving a shit about the fact that Molinar and Trapasso have been kicked off the team?

I'm not black and if you aren't black, don't write that shit as if you have a right to do so. Jake Johnson has impeccable style, skill and a unique approach to skating. I'm simply stating the obvious: he can do much better than this. Hell, I can't tell you how many skaters replicate his genuine style. But sure, if you think this clip is cool that's alright with me. converse is based more around old school skater's and doing tricks like those are hard if your in to tech thats your thing but this era is more old school no complys wall rides wallys all the good stuff wich to me it way harder then tech sure tre down a four stair what about ollie the four but go at a angle so that you hit a mad wall ride and the when you land it a very slick/smooth no comply 180 to me and most converse fans thats the shiet
I'm not talking about converse. I'm talking about Jake Johnson. If I had at any point mentioned converse in my critical comment, then sure, converse isn't conventional. But I'm not talking about that....dude. Make your point separate from mine. There is a place where you can initiate your point: the comments section. Converse isn't about Ollie's over handrails into pole jams too. That's very new skating. Converse is more about yeah wall rides, bombing hills with harsh backside power slides at top speed, eating shit. Anthony Pops is where converse is at now: raw street. Not boxed into the old school. However, I see your point.
