Just a novice on electric bikes, so take it for what it's worth, but I can already say getting one was definitely a great decision. At my level of fitness (average) it goes up the steepest sides of Ruckers Hill with not even the greatest possible available assist, and feels almost like I'm riding on the flat. I am not getting any younger, so it's good to know that extra buffer is there, just for that reason alone. And it makes me expect it will easily deal with headwinds added into the mix--especially those trying hot northerlies (if we even get any serious summer weather at all this year). On another note, being brand new to ebikes, at first the rear hub motor makes for a different enough feel from normal cycling to keep you pretty alert. The greater weight, the weight being rear focussed,, and especially the relative suddenness of the assisted push you get from standstill. Not much of an issue for me as I've been a motorbike rider. Still, just in a short time riding it makes you aware of some largely unconscious body memories that the years of regular cycling ingrained in you. Some things I've noticed that need a different kind of riding now are like when you're taking slow, sharp bends, or negotiating curbs, or unexpected surface changes, and of course intersection approaches etc. But the learning curve is proving to be steep---and I reckon that's helped by this particular bike (so I can endorse comments to that effect in this vid). Was very happy with the decision to get one of these as soon as my first ride. But I didn't foresee that mastering the new feel would be a thing, and a heap fun and satisfying thing too, for me anyway, and while that continues it will keep on making the decision to get an ebike actually feel like a much better one each time I get on it!
Totally Epic I can't wait to ride through all of those tunnels!!!

@@axisofepicelectricbikers897 now you need to make a video dressed as a Dick Emery character.
@@tw25rw Ooh,you are awful…..but I like you.
What are all your best ebikes recommend for riding up arthurs seat for folding & without folding?
Would a rear drive be more efficient? Maybe less wear on the chain as well?
This is rear drive.
