- Whilst in Los Angeles earlier this year, Celtic Woman were invited to the historic Capitol Studios in Hollywood to record a session as part of the 1Mic1Take series.
Gathered around the very microphone that Frank Sinatra used for most of his recordings they performed a few of their regular songs and then in a spontaneous moment, inspired by watching Adele perform the night before at the Grammy Awards, they sang a cover version of her song ‘Water Under The Bridge’.
This is the result.

Adele must be so proud of this version of her song, which is the most hauntingly beautiful version I have heard. The voices of Celtic Woman are crystalline clear, their harmony is mesmerizing, Susan McFadden is luminous as her voice and gestures capture the song's essence, Mairead Carlin's exquisitely ethereal voice takes over the second half of the song, and they all three capture every nuance of this sad yet hopeful lament. What a wonderful song, sung to wonderful effect, by this incredibly talented and lovely ensemble!
Love Eabha's voice in general, but this was very beautiful performance in a perfect harmony with the other great voices. Thank you Celtic Woman for all your celestials songs. It's a true spirit elevation when hear those beautiful and different amazing voices.
No doubt, her contralto is standout among an overdone sopranos ... all beautiful hers is amazing with range.

@@wmeemw994 I am not convinced she’s a contralto although Wikipedia says she is...her voice is not husky like real contraltos or manly like Cher...if Adele is a mezzo soprano the. Do is eabha...they both sing around the same range
Alex'smindrunswild , she certainly gets lower than alto and the only other female range is soprano of mezzo which she is not ... Wikipedia is useless to base facts upon. She & they call her range contralto.
