Thank you. I have a 2022 Nissan Frontier SV 4x4 and will be turning it back in September and picking up a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness. I originally had a Limited on order, but cancelled that order and got the Wilderness on order. One thing I hate about my Frontier is the halogen headlights. At night, I can't see squat when driving in the mountains - even with the high beams. Those steering response headlights will be great in the mountains on all of the curvy roads near me.
Thank for your video, did you notice the LED cornering lights? It will illuminate areas to the front and sides of the vehicle when turning or parking at night.
You commented about needing to wipe the dust off of your rear-view camera but there is a washer that will wash it for you on the end of your wiper control! Nice function if you ask me...
What are the dark spots on the upper part of the low beam pattern? You can see this starting at 3:42 of your video, especially when you turn the wheel back and forth. I have the same thing and its not only distracting, but on a dark highway it creates a dangerous blind spot!
The headlights on the 2024 Crosstrek are terrible and dangerous. Not bright enough on low beam, looks like a line from where lights shine on road and not 5:51 high enough to see a distance and there are 2 black shadows that look like floaters in your eyes that are very distracting. Test drive at might on dark roads before you buy.
Why do this automakers put Halogen bulbs for turn signals while everything else is LED. Is it possible that nobody wants to sit behind a car with LED and get blinded from the LED...These lights are so blinding to other drivers. Subaru is getting about as bad a Toyota. The glare is way uncomfortable. LED lights should be outlawed until they can control the beam pattern better for other drivers. BMW and Audi have mastered this with matrix headlights. However, there is so much red tape that the automakers in the US do the bare min.

The green means the feature is on. I agree they should not have it in orange. Maybe red or blue would be better suited.
You need to go out of the city for these tests. I could not tell how well the lights performed in the dark. There is to much ambient lighting.

dont recall, it is gone

didn't notice any controls that do that at the time
so I am told.....but at 116 degrees outside we were a bit short of fog.....
I accidentally turned on automatic brights. I had no idea what was going on, when a bright blue headlamp icon kept turning on and off...

It doesn't show on the wall test, so I am not sure. But it is so small on pavement I can' t see it being a problem myself....
I noticed that on my 2024 sport I got today I'm not quite sure
Headlights are amazing either way
