it looks like they put those homes in a swamp
Florida is a swamp, trust me!
I'm from Louisiana, rated the last state in the country when it comes to poverty, education, etc. But even we have the common sense to leave when there's a Category 4 hurricane coming.
@@jimsmith7326 I heard the Cajun navy volunteered to help rescue people.
There's alligators in there too! I saw the video of it.
It’s great to live near the ocean until it isn’t! Cheers!!
It looks like Venice! Psychologically, how many times can one rebuild knowing it will probably happen every year? 🙄🙄😪
Theres quite an interesting debate going on in the outerbanks where beaches and infrastructure is needed to be constantly rebuilt and improved because of erosion and shifting of the sands. At the same time no one wants their property taxes raised to pay for the infrastructure problems where they live.
If they have a brain, they’ll move.
Amén
@@emperornugz89 Do not rebuild.
Rhonda Santis will now gleefully accept socialist help from the federal government! (The same help they voted against when it came to hurricane Sandy.) #panhandleputin
It’s not socialism you boob! It’s called taxes we paid for! You’re the same guy that believes we should keep on giving billions to Ukraine
At least DeSantis has something to think about besides culture wars and kidnapping inmigrents!
Death tolls: Ian = 33; COVID-19 = 81,369 with more still every day in Florida, even when the hurricane is gone. Great job Ron!
@@Johhny_McMerica shows how much a pod you democrats are. Can’t even let one day go by without bringing politics into it
Maybe DeSantis could bus Florida refugees to America?
@@Johhny_McMerica Do you live in a trailer too?
Their has gotta building code reform in these coastal communities for both safety and economics insurance companies will not be able to continue to rebuild these home over and over especially in the global warming era we are in currently when these storms will most likely become more frequent and more powerful.
This comment made the most sense.
never gonna happen, flood insurance too good
@@superswaggerorgasm insurance companies can delcine selling flood insurance. some companies are pulling out of Florida. best to not live in such places like this. people are not wise.
@@superswaggerorgasm I do not know if it has happened there yet, but here in California we can only get governmental insurance for places that are deemed likely to suffer fires or floods. Insurance companies refuse service or make it so expensive only the very wealthy can afford it.
Global warming is not affecting the storms get your facts straight that's propaganda
It's going to be a little hard to burn books when the books are wet
IT'S GONNA BE BIG... BIG!
IT'S GONNA BE HUGE... HUGE!
Get ready for the GIANT Used Car & Truck Sale!
If they really learn a lesson and that's world wide so much cities need to be relocated it's convenient, logical, smart decision that there going to regret and have regretted and rebuild times and times again that's foolish, there's no point, inconvenient for everyone and all business corp.insur.gove.etc etc they need to see the bigger picture
Why we in Florida allow mobile homes, building on or near the beach, and continue to try to get people to move here is the real question.
Why don't person living in Florida build brick houses or use steel & cement like the Caribbean. All you would have to worry about is your roof or flooding
I live at Yucatán. Many people build during the pndmy, with cinder blocks, cement and steel. Neighbors expanded theirs homes, new bank sucursals, etc
Chucky looks so happy and excited.
Charlie almost wiped out my home and business in 2004 and that was it for us. I consider my family as early climate refugees that can now watch from a safe distance. Unfortunately, this was totally predictable.
bet the immigrants are happy they were sent to Martha's vineyard....
Murdock circle apartments are getting power back as of 7:41 pm on 9/30 some buildings have power while another’s are still off in the complex.
Florida should be abandon what with hurricanes and rising sea levels.
Nah, let'em swim.
And the earth is just starting to warm up.
Maybe they should have preyed to god for mercy.
could'a would'a should'a
Thoughts and Prayers NOT!
Put the power lines underground
What a tragedy if Florida sinks forever, never to be heard from again. Never. Never ever.
House value will still go up
Englewood straddles Sarasota and Charlotte counties. If the surge had hit like predicted, there would have been widespread devastation and death.
Many manufactured and old homes. Last year at this time I was living there right next to Lemon Bay.
There was widespread devastation and death (120+ people died) Skippy. Not enough for you?🤡👎
(4:17) Building Codes and Regulations matter is a potential disaster. I think that is a really good takeaway from this conversation. Learning from the science, never thought I would hear that coming out of Florida…
🤔
Prayers for south Carolina👏
Prayers for loved ones❤️💙🗝️THE KEY TO YOUR SALVATION 💙🙏 1Corinthians 15: Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 💙For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:💙
Confess, repent, believe & trust that King Jesus died, paid for your sins, and was raised by God on the 3rd day! May God be with you! God loves you, Jesus loves you 🧡 God Bless!!
Maybe DeSantis could bus Florida refugees to America?
Man most of those cars will have electronic problems from now on cause of that water
insurance companies just dry out the cars and sell them in the mid-west real fast.
The6 have insurance. Do you live in a trailer too?
🙏🙏🙏
Awesome guest telling you what materials hold up best.
No pueden lidear con un huracan y quieren ir a la luna la tierra es primero
Es una carrera por la superioridad(para tomar la Luna deben poner una base, igual averiguar si se puede habitar en el espacio o estudiar las posibilidades)
English. Learn it.🤡👎
Hurricane Katrina comes to mind.
Death tolls: Ian = 33; COVID-19 = 81,369 (7-day average of 42). Wish DeSantis would have supported mandates for BOTH emergencies, but I guess he couldn't cover up a hurricane, right?
You okay?
Apples and oranges. DeSantis 2024 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@christinebee9781 - All the dead people don't think so.
@@christinebee9781 Yeah, when is this silly hurricane stuff going to be over so he can get back to his real job of banning books and bullying migrants and transgender kids?
@@christinebee9781 - 47 more COVID-19 deaths reported in Florida today. Total up to 81, 416. The hurricane may be gone, but COVID isn't. Ron won't be worried about that, though, huh?
i bet desantis is like"whos gonna clean this up?!can i have my migrants back...?"
south Carolina learn to know nature's have no color but revenge on the landscape
Florida is so two face
They will Be welcomed back with opened arms, cheap labor for all that hard clean up and rebuilding.
Now, if you’re talking about weaponized weather manipulation,
Strike teams… super tactical bro.
I’m sure Trump and those Republican social programs will come help.
Yeah they will unlike democrats who want to sit back and just blame republicans for nothing!!! Face it, we will win the mid terms!
My frie d is in puts girta hes almost seventy abd a vet.He just moved there two years ago for peace and quiet ....I called no answers .
My friends are in Punta Gorda and are fine. Lots of wind but no water, probably phone not working, don’t worry yet.💙
Have we crossed the point of no return in terms of damaging the planet? There is no such point. We need to trust that our thought, which is our greatest quality, can change nature. We only need to understand the direction to which we should aim our thoughts. What should we think about? What condition or state should we aspire to and ask for?
In order to save our planet, we should think about positive human connections. That is, how can we, in our connections, keep nature safe? How can we all together protect our world? If we truly wish to better our planet, then we should see people holding a concern for how to positively connect everywhere that we look.
It has nothing to do with recycling or other activities that we commonly associate with as being sustainable. If we come closer to and consider each other, that we will reach an entirely organic, perfectly connected and round state, then the negative forces will disappear from the world.
We need to understand that if we start thinking better about each other, then the planet will recover from all harm, because our thoughts are the strongest force in nature. Likewise, our negative thoughts about each other are entirely to blame for damaging the planet. That is why the more we recycle and invest in energies and activities that we commonly think of as being sustainable, the worse our planet becomes. Nothing will work to benefit us until we reach a state where our attitude changes toward each other for the better to protect and improve our planet.
Our planet has been through cycles of global warming and freezing at least 3 times during its existence core samples have proved this our use of fossil fuels has made a cyclic situation worse things have been set in motion that will run its coarse because of ignorance and greed humanity will pay a price just this week the Nordstrom stream under sea pipe line was sabotaged which is releasing trillion of tons of methane gas into the atmosphere now you see where the ignorance comes in.
Who are Eric Coomer, Bryan A. Vordran and Scandal Pichai ?
How are the areas hit by Fiona in Canada?
I want everybody to look up Geo engineering they have been controlling the weather for 40 years
This rant goes out to florida and everyone on the east coast being hit by the hurricane;
Hopefully now my feelings of liberty our mutual. You know the knot in your stomach your feeling as you watch and experience a life changing disaster? The burning like you just ate a softball and it wont digest? Now imagine that stress every single day of your working life since 2005. Imagine being tricked into breaking your back for a sincere move and opportunity with your gf, only to have yet another mafia group fleece me as well as the rehab games of noise making continuing by elders who had it way easier. Imagine going a week without power and the power company moving the goalposts to try to shut it off repeatedly, along with other utilities. Imagine having a car with a full lifetime warranty the local mob mechanics break and dont honor, demand payment on under extortion of arrest. Imagine an angry innefficient politicized food stamp and energy assistance offices losing your packets and not being able to eat everyday. Again. That is why i prayed for this hurricane. Now when you are sore with a hurt back and necks after the cleanup. We may feel about the same. Again. Its why i refuse to assist and i truly think with the job opportunities as well as housing opportunities that nobody millenial or younger should assist until a new deal is structured. Across all emt paramedic fema firefighting essential services. How dare you call us entitled.

To bad he couldn't just think the hurricane away like he declassified the stolen top secret documents just by thinking them declassified.
DeSantis is supposed to help but he isn't he loves his rich people his benefits and himself no internet for months he is a dangerous man
