- Decided to do something different and went to Rock Cod fishing. We all did very well with 3 limits and a few nice Ling Cods in the mix. Thanks for watching and please Like and Subscribe.
Some nice catches, I am looking to be that way soon. Is the Rock fish in the North or South part of the Bay?
When they open this year it should be all the same. Good luck.
Its been awhile since Ive gone out for rock fish. How deep were you fishing? I'm surprised that you did not catch bigger lings, all seemed pretty small.
120 to 200 feet. We thought they were nice quality.
Busy catchn trip and gonna be some fine eat'n.......
Yes they were good. Appreciate you stopping by SK.
Awesome catches good job
Thank you very much for stopping by Oleg.
Can someone explain to me why the man released the fish with eyes bulging out of his head
He is releasing the smaller fish correctly. He is using a descending jig with 8 oz weight on it which hooks the fish on the lip then sends them down to about 100 feet then the fish can swim down safely. Is that what you’re asking?
Wow! LOts of nice sized fish. Super calm seas too.
Yes it was a really nice day. Appreciate you stopping by.
Hey brother, nice job on the rockfish and Lings!!!!!!!!!!!! Michele & I, while we were watching the video, Michele said she remembered seeing you guys, you were on the inside of us, this would have been last Saturday, June 4th. I wish I had noticed you guys, I would've liked to said hi in person! I'm sure I will see you out there at some point, thanks for the video!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That’s funny! I thought in your video you said you were at Point Reyes? But you did say you were at you second spot too at the later part of your video. Yes maybe next time we can say hi. Thank you so much for stopping by.
@@fishingaddict5638, you are correct, we started at the point, and finished up at Elephant.😉
Good Job!! Was out at the delta, crazy hot out there and the water is murky green with all the algae all over the place. The fish was not that hungry with the murky green water.
Oh wow, better luck next trip. Thank you very much.
Sounds like fun.😂
Yes it was. Thank you.
Are you guys catching rock fish in the Bay tomales?
We launched in Tomales Bay and we fished just outside of the bay.
YEAH BUDDY!!!!!!!.........THUMBS-UP!!!!!!!!!...FILLING UP BOTH COOLERS🤣🤣🤣
Camp-Joe, thank you so much for stopping by buddy! Missed your videos and haven’t seen any for a while now. Hope all is well.
@@fishingaddict5638 I'm good... just really busy with work... just got my registration for the boat... going out soon
That sounds great! Will be watching out for them.
Nice Rock Fish, good video.
Thank you, appreciated.
Wow I didn't know you used to motion sickness patches? Funny, I also get motion sickness. Actually, been on a few HUGE Cruise Ships, as big as they are still felt dizzy when laying down.
Anyways sweet video, really enjoyed the change to Rock Cod! Some NICE Cods you hooked up! I haven't ate Rock Cod in decades but I remember it having some good taste. Those fin spikes are REALLY nasty on some of those! Nice variety of catches!!
Look forward to your next video!!
On this day the swell was supposed to be at 4.9 feet in that part of the ocean so that’s why I used the patch. But it turned out to be a really calm day. Rock Cods are good eating. Thank you so much for stopping by.
@@fishingaddict5638 Thanks for the response, as always!
I been wanting to fish Tomales Bay myself, what part of the Bay for the Rock fish? That's if your telling..
It’s a few miles outside of Tomales Bay.
hi, l have never fished Tomales Bay , how far do you have to go to catch Rock Fish, normally what weather is good to go out there. l have a Tracker Targa V-18 combo.
3-4 miles out. Just look on google maps and fish over rocky areas. Wind in single digits and swell under 4 feet.
No Halibut at this area?
We didn’t try for halibut.
