Happy Sunday everyone!!! Thanks for being here :). The final tally on the contest is Cereuscula 14 vs. Paradoxa 11. Messy for the win. Although it was pretty close. Don't forget to leave any questions below for my upcoming Q&A video...if you don't have any questions...leave me a topic suggestion to talk about. If you don't have that either...that's ok. Thanks again for being here with me. I hope you have a great day :).
Hi Gena, wow that Hoya decipulae is absolutely stunning. I so enjoy watching you speak about your plants with so much excitement. I love my plants too. My question for you is, what is your favorite movie? Have a wonderful Labor Day ❤
Begonias and your Frydek! Loved this video so so much! Happy September! Wow….that Hoya was neat as well….so so happy for you and yes the months are flying by! You will have to show us an end of the summer outside tour as well! Hope the kitties and your son and husband are all doing great! I wish you lived next door so I could hire your husband to put up my curtains….he he he…..I will enjoy the down time of winter….I day dream about it!…see you in a flash! Love tina oh I can’t believe the paradoxa is not in the lead!
Hi, Tina!!! Tooo funny...guess what I did today???? Filmed a garden tour :). That will be coming out soon. Everyone is great, thanks!!! Hope the same on your end. Hope everyone has settled in nicely. The house right next door to us just sold...it was for sale. I don't think it's a planty person though, sadly LOL. But who knows. I would LOVE to have you as my neighbor :). I think if I ever moved to another state, it would be Minnesota. I heard in a few years, up north will be the place to be because of all the water. Only thing that might hold me back is the mosquitos. Hope you had a fabulous Sunday. Mine was very busy with plant stuff. Love ya back!!!! xxoo
I love your Frydek (and all the others)! I want to slowly move it to ambient. Your Hoya is amazing!!! Mine has two peduncles that are opening now! They are splayed now! :)
Happy Sunday Gena 🪴🌞. Seeing you speak about your plants is like seeing a kid in his/her favorite candy store 🍬 🍫 🍭. It's wonderful watching your joy and seeing your plants thrive. Thank you for sharing.
We love these favorite videos so many beautiful plants to look at we can tell why each one of them is a favorite this month two questions first do you really only Water 2 days a week still how long does it take to do it and about your plant shop right now you're selling two or three pages worth of plants once a week do you foresee that increasing anytime soon😊😊😊❤
Hi Gena! All of your picks are amazing - the decipulae and fatal attraction are my favorites. My davidcummingii arrived beautifully! I put him in an east window near my hoya burtoniae that blooms constantly. 🤞he’ll bloom too!
Oh yay!!! So glad to hear that. We'll have to compare notes on blooming. My mother plant isn't much bigger than what I sent to you (cuz I've chopped it a few times LOL). Looking forward to seeing those blooms!!!! Thanks Cheryl :).
The hoya is absolutely stunning! I have several but that one is still quite pricey when you can find it! Would love to see your cacti and succulents too. I am a Euphorbia collector but have a few succulents and cacti too. New subscriber and I look forward to new content! No questions... But how about 'what is your tastiest thing you like to cook' since you mentioned food! Take care!
Fun question!!!! Thank for that :). And thanks for subscribing. I absolutely love succulents and cacti but for some reason they are not that popular when it comes to viewers for those videos. I do the videos anyways LOL. So happy to have you here :).
Thank you!! I sure can. I'm currently testing a new pest control method and when that is done I will report back on my experience in a video :). I'll include Linearis in that video. Thanks for the suggestion!
Hi Gena. I'm getting ready to bring a bunch of my plant in from outside. I'm going to have to invest in another growlight situation. I was thinking you could do a video on growlights, maybe?
I was watching one of your older videos showing your pothos & Scindapsus collection. I was wondering if you still have your snow queen & manjula? If so, would you consider propagating them for sale in your shop ☺️. Enjoy your week
Hi, Roz! I do still have them. My routine is to propagate those types of plants at the end of the summer. Particularly the manjula as winter seems to always be so hard on it. I feel it's best to cut it way back before then. I've sold the props in my shop before (early this year and late last year I think) so I'll be doing that again. I've never done the snow queen but I certainly could :).
I have question, how long does it take to grow a small syngonium albo to mature stage? And when can you start propagating it? Thank you for this video, I love seeing everyone’s favorites
Thanks Aubrey!!! Oh no!!! Do you know what happened? I was so worried about mine early on. I'm not doing anything different than before so that's what makes me think it was just acclimating to the tent. Sorry you lost yours :(.

The Fatal attraction Begonia is amazing. Like you it is just so hard to pick favorites.
Truly stunning...those colors. Probably my most impressive patterned/colored Begonia in my collection. It is sooo hard :). Thanks Chris!!!!

Great question ❤️. Thanks Duncan!!! You too ☺️.
Do a quarterly favorites may get more out of it! Just a suggestion!
Love the Hoya!! Can you please do a pest control and care video for linearis ??
Thank you!!
There are so many options! Let me see what I can do 😊.

Love the one you featured! I killed my hoya decipulae 😭

@ThePinkTrellis thanks. I'm sure it was a watering issue. But I'm not sure if it was too much or to little. Maybe just inconsistent
@@Aquamarine.Aubrey Yeah, it's hard to know exactly since under and over can look the same.
Hi Gena! I would like to know how to propagate using sphagnum and how to avoid moldy moss. Mold is my issue
Hi, Carolyn! I'll be sure to answer that for you :). Thanks for the question!!!!
Peridot is a gemstone. Maybe the flower is the color of Perit (dough)? The ‘T’ is silent.
Hi, Paul! Cherie mentioned that it's her sister's birthstone, and you are right, that's exactly how it's pronouned :).
The August birthstone is Peridot, pronounced Pear-i-dough!! FYI only!!
I will most likely promptly forget that (or maybe not!) LOL. Thanks so much for letting me know :).
@@ThePinkTrellis my sister's birthstone, or I probably wouldn't know!! Lol
