Love this song. Last week I was shoveling snow and this came on the radio I sang all the words out loud and my neighbor looked at me gave me the nod and started singing with me.
This song makes me so happy and brings back so many memories he’s one of the first people I ever listened to when I started listening to country music. I miss the 90s when music was good ;)
l agree with you, indeed Collin Raye a great and talented artist who's songs never goes out of style, he's one of my favorites artist, he's songs still and always heals the Soul, I pray God gives you lot of beautiful days.
I love this song. My dad and mkm use to sing this song to each other. My dad was the "bad guy". We wpukd laugh so hard at them playing this out. May momma rest easy. This was one of my favorite songs. I'm 37 and now I play it and my kids sing it. They get in trouble for something that isn't that serious not really trouble but get a talking and they will burn out with this song making me roll laughing sometimes. Teenagers can be trolls. My dad will go well that's their story and they are wricking to it. Can't be mad. He helps them get in trouble. Lol
Growing up this was my FAVORITE song. There is a literal video of me singing it when I was about 8 or so. I had my grandpas cowboy hat on and his flannel, paired with my sparkly cowgirl boots. Yeah... This song man...
You are still rocking it. Great seeing you and Sammy and Aaron in Nashville. Fixing to be just like y’all. Make this nation great again, and keep country music great!
this song holds a very interesting memory for me. my parents were upset about something that either my brother or i had done. it had a very specific time stamp on when it happened. when i found out what that time stamp was i pointed out it was right at the start of one of my favorite shows and there was no way i was going to miss it. when i pointed that out my mom knew i was right cause i had told her everything about that episode. my brother having definitive proof laid out before him tried to spin something and this song happen to come on the radio. it wasn't funny at the time but looking back on it makes me laugh
I saw Collin Raye in concert back in the summer of 1994(?). He puts on a great show, and sings an incredible version of The Eagles' 'Wasted Time'. I remember that the Eagles country tribute album 'Common Threads' (1993) had just come out, and Collin was heartbroken that his song wasn't chosen to be on the album. After hearing him sing it live, I can promise you that the album producers made a grave error.

Always my friend. Always.
Except 60s, 70s, and 80s music… 😉
Agreed
I agree strongly
Officially, the last decade of sacredness of music and how good life was back then.
90s music will never be topped
Truth! Every decade has it's on defining music genre.
Only by 80s music.
As a fan of all music the '90s produced great music across multiple genres. This is but one of the story telling country songs that is timeless.
Amen
This is great country music that has a life lesson. Always tell the truth.
Especially when you ask a wonan how many guys she slept with
I thought it was lie to your wife
Love this song & I approve it that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!!! Amen &amen

lilbuni2004 dude I was just watching this again and couldn’t help but laugh!!! Those phones are ridiculous!!! I miss the 90s
Those were cellar phones now we have cell phones 🤣
Watch it now. I used to carry one of those phones when I drove a tow truck in the late 90s.
This song makes me so happy and brings back so many memories he’s one of the first people I ever listened to when I started listening to country music. I miss the 90s when music was good ;)

Check out Aaron tippin. He was a fuckin monster. Still is as a matter of fact

You should have seen the cell phones from the 80s. They needed a bag to be carried around in, and in fact, that's what they were called: bag phones.
14 year old account wow
A cell phone? I remember having to find a phone booth!
I was selling and had a Nokia. It was so heavy
