this song here I remember jamming to it with my dad in his truck..... this is one of my favorites bc he is no longer here just when I listen to it I can see us jus jamming out to it.....love u pops
I've been thinking about this song with the 4th of July coming up. I remember when Sammy was declared the successor to George Jones with songs like this. His romance with Lorrie Morgan cemented that opinion, like George with Tammy Wynette. Sammy didn't sing the "hick hop" you hear on country radio today. He sang "Cadillac Style," "Southbound," "Politics, Religion, and Her," and "Matches." And the honest emotional duet with Lorrie "Maybe Not Tonight" about lovers growing apart from each other when their marriage was rumored to be on the rocks (it was.) I think "Queen of my Double Wide Trailer" is what a lot of us in America live today, even if we don't live in a double wide trailer like I do.
I live in a old town that has a bar at the end of every few streets. The bar at the end of my street has this song in the jukebox an everytime it playing, the part where Sammy does the Ric Flair Wooooooooo! In the song , the whole bar WOOOOOOO! along with Sammy . I miss great country music that everyone sings along too.
So many "Queens" in country music back in the day... I mean... 1. Queen of Memphis 2. Queen of my heart 3. Queen of my double wide trailer 4. Cleopatra (queen of denial).... Help me out here folks....
He's from my home town! He used to have free concerts for the city at out towns football field before he made it big. It's so crazy to see someone from my little home town actually go somewhere! Come back and see us in kaplan sammy!

I really miss the 90's
Bob Silver amen to that brother.

+Bob Silver... If you miss the 90's then you never experienced the 70's.
desertsun100 I was born in 68, so I remember the 70's...it seemed awesome also...I was a KISS fanatic in the late 70's.
I'd rather do the 90s again than have the chance at the 60-70's
My stepdad used to call my mom the queen of our double wide trailer😂😂😂... He made me love this song...
“He’s the Charlie Daniels of the torque wrench” great line.

Hi @@parteibonza, How’re you doing today
7/28/2020 Whose still listening to this in 2020!!!!! I miss these days of country music.
December 2020 love country music
Very beautiful song. How are you doing. Hope you are fine and staying safe out there
90s Country rebirth was great times!
These lyrics are really good in my late 30’s. When I was little I just hummed along lol
One of the best songs ever made! God where did country go?!
This song only reminds me of good times.. family cookouts, being out on the boat, beach days.. If this song is on it’s gonna be a good time
I love my double wide trailer, I'm the Queen ✨
Hello angel.. how are you doing?
I lived in Kaplan, Louisiana when I was a kid. Remember seeing Sammy at Sonic a time or two. Really nice guy!
So many "Queens" in country music back in the day... I mean...
1. Queen of Memphis 2. Queen of my heart 3. Queen of my double wide trailer 4. Cleopatra (queen of denial).... Help me out here folks....
Man I crank this song up when I'm in my pickup truck ! Sammy is great, sure miss him !
Anyone 2024👍or👎🏽😂😂

This song is so fire 🔥🎉😂😊
🙋🏼♂️
I've always lived in a mobile home trailer and I've always loved them
He's from my home town! He used to have free concerts for the city at out towns football field before he made it big. It's so crazy to see someone from my little home town actually go somewhere! Come back and see us in kaplan sammy!
I remember the feeling in the early 90's, it was all good!
