And it's true, hitting those mountains, Blue Ridge mountain skies, Blue Ridge Mountains, just outside Spartanburg, MTB and Tippin screamin' from the speakers....HOME!!!

I was born in the late 80s. This was my favorite song as a child. I remember Easter Morning one year in the early 90s, in my Easter Basket, there was an Aaron Tippin tape. I'm almost 40. I remember once I was helping Randy move, and we were trying to put a probably 400 pound hot tub on a second story deck. it was a soft rain falling and I went on top and Randy, his maybe 16 year old son and another guy were below pushing it up from a pick up bed! Well things got tough and the boy fell down , and then the friend slipped and fell I was doing all I could... but Randy a big man, reached down and pushed that 400 pound hot tub up and held it until everyone was safe and between us all we got it up there... but to this day whenever I think of that day I can't help thinking about the old Jimmy Dean song "Big Bad John"! If Randy hadn't been the hoss of a man he was people could have been hurt!

I was within 10 ft of him when he arrived for a doctor’s appointment so I got a much better look at him than you did. I was there picking my sister up for lunch when he walked in. Maybe he got himself in a little better shape before going on the road again but he definitely looked run down and frail that day.
