It would be cool if this came attached to a small rail that wrapped around the handguard (on the mlok slots on the 3, 6, and 9 positions) allowing you to reposition the device depending on which side you needed it!
Just need to design a small QD point for it to go over or make it QD itself. Then you could move it around at will. Also would give the benefit of removing to save weight.
Their mlok sure fire switch mount works great on my Olight Odin mini switch (the switch is the same on all Odin models), just had to file the hood the cord goes through a little bigger and it works as if it were made for it.
Or you can use a foregrip with grip tape. or a locking bipod. or offset fixed iron sights. something that actually has a useable purpose outside of the pokie barricade thingy. Locking bipod is the best choice since it swivels so it can be used for pretty much any barricade, folded or unfolded.

It's all marketing. Marketing = perception. The sweeping majority of gun owners are such inexperienced and untrained shooters, it seems like the gun industry can sell anything as long as it's marketed as useful. And it's easy to make something seem useful to people who don't really know what they need or don't need because they have no experience.
AFG or handstop works in same application. I do get having it on the left side for right handers, meaning more of your body mass is behind the barricade. Having it on right side as a right hander may mean your body is exposed without concealment or cover.
And thats what my existing finger stop doubles as. But i do like that magpul is always innovating. Do they make a mag coupler for twenty round mags yet? If not thats what id be focussing on.
I wouldn’t think there’s enough room on a 20 round mag to mount a coupler. Since it’s that short, the coupler would be at the bottom of one mag, and then have to be higher on the other so the mag on right stays out of the way of the ejection port. But then, that mag wouldn’t be able to seat in the mag well

Yeah this product makes no sense
I use it to tenderize meat, my wife hates it
If it works, it works!
I’m all about tenderizing some meat. 🍖
Just imagined you in the kitchen with an AR just essentially muzzle striking a ribeye lol
That's godtta be a small piece of meat...which might explain why your wife hates it 🤣😉
It could also be dishwasher safe.
I can’t wait for Magpul to release the Porta-Cade. This way, you always have a barricade to use your Barricade Stops.
I read this is the Pimp My Ride voice. "We heard you like to barricade-stop, so we got you a barricade with a barricade on it, so when you run out of barricade stops, you can keep on barricading."
itll be the M-Lokade
I can’t wait for that to snag every piece of kit known to man. Sounds fantastic
EXACTLY !!! Promo video is one thing , but practical use = 0😕
Introducing the Magpul Guard for the Barricade, stop those snags in one guarding motion.
Probably better for sporting purposes than tactical ones...less kit with sports...and more use of a barricade stop
I can say, without a doubt, that this is indeed a barricade stop and a barricade stop at that too, if I might add.
It's the most barricade stop of all time
I was looking for block of hardened steel to increase barrel weight. This is perfect!
How is that stop going to increase barrel weight?
"Turn your obstacles into assets" goes hard.
This would be cool if you could rotate it around the handguard for different barricades
Ew no

Sounds kinda like that scope switch that allows you to adjust lpvo magnification without moving your hand from the final firing position
Nice. Finally a solid barricade stop.

Amen to that brother
now I have.... hand stops. barricade stops. now all I need is a full height bipod I can deploy from standing and have it touch the ground
Maybe you like the Caldwell XLA Bipod 😂
I was already doing this with the magpul hand stop just turned around at the front of my rifle. But now one with little pokey spikes? Sure

Love this actually... Very cool
Sweet, needs to have a rotating part that will lock and unlock to rotate placement quickly with a button press.
That would be horribly busy around the handguard.
No
its nice but you would need three of them to really work
When will we get Daka grid angled blocks that were shown during product launch? Take my money!
I was hoping the front face wouldn’t be polymer. That’s pretty darn cool!
I love your business and product
You guys are amazing but why no mp5 magazine ?
'bout time
I’m gonna put it on backwards for maximum grip
be cool if the hole in the bottom was a attachment point for a quick attachment bipod
SLR makes an all aluminum version. Works great. You know you can rotate your rifle correct?
Cant wait till somebody mods this into Ready or Not

Needs to have integrated QD so you can move around and take off easily.
