      Hey guys how are you? I hope you fine!
      About heavyweight and skate fast: skating fast depends more your body position and one foot control while you push than low weight... If your doctor it's ok you can start skating fast training focusing that two things progressively! Slowly and always more, on your time. Good evolution and fun

      @@arrobatemporaria correct. They mustn't necessarily lose weight (though it'll help) but rather work to perfect their weight distribution among proper joints in order for the surrounding muscles to support them, specifically, hips, knees, and ankles. There's a rollerskater I follow who is quite hefty and they do spins and flips in bowls, all bc they have control of their big beautiful body and momentum. Ik street is harder but the same concept of learning your body applies.

    i've always seen it as increasing the gear ratio of your motions. just like shifting to a higher gear on a bike.
    but what about double pushing?! once i got i hang of that, it felt like i gained easily 25% extra efficiancy, and get noticably more distance out of every single stride.
    and on top of that, it feels amazing to do!

    When I started skated for the first time like last week and I was thinking how to memorise the movement of skating on roller blades. Then I realised that the movements we use with our feet are like the frog swimming technique or breaststroke as most call it! So I've done pretty well with that mindset!! 😂
    Unfortunately I didn't discover that through your video that we should think of skating as swimming but I can indeed confirm that it works because I had immediate change AS SOON as I thought that way of skating!!! 🤣🤣🤣
    That aside, love the video!! Will make sure to bear your tips in mind!!!👍

      @kenneth6102 6 місяців тому

      @@WheystedGainzAndArtisticMe I think you are missing my point. Being different/ oneself has nothing to do with what I said. People put together a look or a style that they like, with items that complement one another. For example, most people, including Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg or Warren Buffett would look weird or wannabe when they wear a 3-piece suit with a pair of trainers; but Richard Branson will be able to pull it off.
      I like those skates too, but I would wear a white/ light colour t-shirt and jeans to go with them. Some people look kool when they mismatch whilst most don't. Liking something is not the same as looking good in it. He does, whilst you and I probably don't.

    thanks for the useful video. I'm a beginner and I'm starting to use a straight sideways movement instead of a v shape, but I'm terribly slow, I can't even do 15 km/h, which is really ridiculous. how is it possible to go with straight sideway push at 20, 30 and more km/h?! it seems impossible. I have strong legs, I have been doing fitness for many years. Please for some advice

      It's not the one he's wearing but I highly recommend the Triple 8 Sweatsaver, one of the few helmets that actually have tested impact certificates. In the same way the good motorcycle helmets do, don't use it on something with an engine though, that needs even higher impact protection.

      Looks like an Ennui Elite Helmet, they're cool cuz they're super lightweight and thin so they're not half as bulky as as a regular skate lid. They use some honeycomb structure that allows it to be thinner, but also strong.
      I've been wanting one for a while and they don't seem to be kept in stock anywhere regularly.
