No. Because that isn’t the title of the vIdeo, mate I think we’ve gotten rather spoiled by the instant delivery of the internet, now we demand. Anyways, all the best. No offence to you- rather, im standing up for the guy and all his detailed knowledge that he’s relating
I am moving to west Africa and will build an estate by the ocean. Will putting a line of lime around the yard, and keep applying it,deter the snakes from crossing the line.Ive heard that it burns them, and they will not cross.
All the best with the estate and move. By now with all the so called brilliant scientists and engineers like Elon Musk, there should be absolutely no deadly venomous snakes roaming free to "accidentally " harm a human. Chop the venomous snakes in half with a shovel if you ever see any. Be extremely careful please! Prost
The best things you can do is keep your garden trimmed and not over grown so limit the options for hiding. Use a snake wire or chicken wire fence on your property which terrestrial snakes can’t get through. Only a couple of species could climb over but all the venomous ones won’t be able to as long as you stake it under the ground.
Cats work very well for me because the cats are eating the snakes food sources and without the snakes not having anything to eat, they usually move on to where there is an available food source.
So, I don't know this fella but I think he is so very wrong on most points...keep in mind...i might be the one that's wrong. I used to have many more snakes now not so much. I mow, I prune, I set traps for mice. I removed the pinestraw and put down white pea gravel... i use a blower every week.... these things help a ton..a ton... removing food source means snakes must go some place else to eat, how am I wrong? Filling holes in foundation,,,very very good. Don't have downspouts all the way to the ground.... snakes go up the downspout and make their way to attic,,, no really that's a fact!. If you don't think snakes been in your attic...look closer they shed their skin and mine... maybe yours too. Good hiding place... also the fella says snake will eat dead rodents. I don't think so. Yes in captivity a human will eat a dead frozen mouse, giving no other option. I think bate station perfect cure, don't think it brings rats to your station, its not like they smelled it from 3 miles away. Them rats was already on your property if they eat the bait.. then be dead... bet you no snake going to eat that dead mouse. .
Spray this oil around it has very strong mint extract... Which hacks there smelling sense and respiratory system and cause suffocation.. which makes them move away
So your trying to say 1/4in Fencing mesh wont work? I mean sure it wont on TINY Tiny ones. But it will cost vs effect will be a huge deterrent. Cost of installing a Solid Fence vs a 4ft Mesh fence is HUGE!!! And a Solid fence doesn't ensure that some climb it. While most cannot there are a few. Again a cost vs effect.
@@RovePestControl I love reptiles and would love to provide them a safe haven so they don't get crushed by cars or hunted or "collected" by anyone. I don't really want them in my house but under it would be fine by me. Under my house could be a winter den for hibernating rattlesnakes and other compatible reptiles, I just don't know how to attract them to that area.

Ammonia is often suggested as a snake repellent, but its effectiveness is questionable. While some people claim that the smell of ammonia deters snakes, there is limited scientific evidence to support this. It's best to focus on proven methods like removing attractants, sealing entry points, and ensuring a well-maintained yard to minimize snake encounters.
I live in Thailand and I have a huge problem with cobras in my home. So many rats and I don't know how to get rid of all snakes... I don't know but I've would say that 5-6 cobras in my home every year is a problem
i think, the "so many rats" fact is the main problem :). get big owls, hawks, falcons, herons, etc to live on your property. they can eat both, snakes and rats. And for that the whole neighbourhood of course needs to be survivable for those animals in the first place.
Anyone else want him to get to the point of what works
No shit. He didn't say anything that helps
All he said is what doesn't work obviously he want to sell something not give away secrets to lose money.

Thanks for the question. I skipped the video.
That’s not the title of the video. We’ve gotten spoiled by having the internet.
You gave no workable suggestions.
Try this. Spray this oil around... the strong mint extract will keep snakes at bay

Nice presentation,
I think some of these ideas are off a long shot tho
Does smoke work?😊
Smoke isn't typically effective for snake control. It's best to focus on preventive measures and professional assistance if needed.
Thank you. I have a cave home and was hoping smoke might deter
Do the snakes burrow with their claws? I can see a fence needs to be buried a couple inches but buried one foot deep seems utterly ridiculous.
No but they do go down rodent holes
snakes dont have claws
@@engiturtle65 🤣🤣🤣
So what works to repel snakes?
Nothing
Yeah but what will eat the snakes?
What a waste of time
You did not mention certain plants that a person can get to keep them away. U- tube has videos just type in snake repellent plants.
Not true I live in Australia. Got all the plants. Never worked. Call out the snake catcher he laughed not true.
Cats work very well for me because the cats are eating the snakes food sources and without the snakes not having anything to eat, they usually move on to where there is an available food source.
MOTH BALLS...COFFEE GROUNDS....CAYENNE PEPPER IS WHAT I USE....JUST SCATTERED AROUND ANY HOLES..WORKS FOR ME!!!
I seen that mothballs do not work
Not legal to put Moth Balls outside.
Some people say, snake plant repel snakes, whats your take ?
Kar CK down one GA snake be gone works great for the rattle sneaks and cotton mouth.
