No, it won't be helpful, because such plants don't exist. Just be aware of coexisting wildlife, and avoid stepping on any kind of animal. If you and your kids do that, you'll never get bitten by one. I mean hey. If a giant creature would step on me, I would also use all weapons I can reach, to defend myself. Makes sense, doesn't it?

Nothing of that is true! I can't count, how many snake relocations I did in recent years. And trust me, I did my research! If there would be any good snake repellents available on this planet, I would know about it, and I would recommend it, because I got tired to do that service 24/7. And actually snakes (even venomous ones, which are mainly cobras, where I live) are not pests. I'm always happy to see a cobra around, because it's the best pest control you can wish for, when it comes to rodents. Snakes are not our enemies. We just need to be aware of them, and avoid stepping on them. That's all!😉✌
Snake 🐍 avoid to go near spiky and thorny plants as cactus 🌵 has sharp spines so snakes avoid those areas where cactus are there.i know this and I am not mind reader of rattle snake 🐍
@@gardenersgardening Interesting, and probably true in terms of direct contact with cactus, however, planting just several of them on the property is not going to persuade the snakes from leaving the area, in my estimation, but, I am not a snake expert, so I may be wrong on that. If one lives in a warm climate area, it would be worth the try.
Then what is Jacobson's organ dear my friend? Snake have supper charged sensor organ ... and there are huge informations about this organ.I am a zoologist also and know more about snakes.....
