    Hi Carol, thanks for this, great info. Would love to see a video about how to choose lighting for open an open concept space? Do you think all the lighting should match? Be at least in the same family ( of colour, style, size, etc.)?

      Thanks Mitra. That's a great idea for a video topic. That's a really great question, with lot's of directions to take for the answer! A couple of thoughts. I agree about having the lighting in the same family - by style, color, size and scale, that always helps to create a cohesive look. Another thought would to also bring in some variety possibly through a different color or finish. I think it depends on the style and look to the room, and then what lighting is just for the background, such as recessed cans for overall lighting that may just disappear in to the ceiling, and which lighting would have more prominence.
