They changed the name of the first level in the Nerd Gaiden world it’s originally called Hang Dong 97 but in the remastered version of AVGN Adventures 2 Assimilation it’s now called Nerds vs Ninjas took me a while to figure this out but I think it’s because of the Legal Rights.
The sample of the Tienanmen song is copyrighted and was replaced in the remaster. Also, Mike Matei did some art and re-writes to make it more in tone with the web series, which includes removing stuff from the movie.

Here's a tip to defeat the Cat mech boss (didnt bother to remember the name): Stand very close to it at the bottom left corner of it to avoid all of it's missiles and sushi and shoot it when it's low enough

It even has a remix of that Hong Kong ‘97 song that made it go from one of the worst songs of all time to one of the greatest songs ignored all time in ASSimilation!!!!!!!
The only thing I don't like about this game is how the shooting/explosion sounds just overpower the music so much that it's just not enjoyable to listen to. It's a real shame since the music is really good.

Also that’s why the AVGN Adventures duology is so fun that just like how I would have craved Pac-Man World 4 in 2008 (because back in the early-mid 2000s, the PMW games each had had a three year gap, plus PMW4… or 5 if counting Pac-Man World Rally, was actually planned a half decade after the only game in the series (not counting handheld ports) I would classify more as a disappointment than a favourite.), I was hoping Angry Video Game Nerd and maybe even the rest of Cinemassacre would make Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures 3 in 2019 because like the PMW games, each instalment had a three-year age gap AND by three times tables as well (between 670 and 673, if you get what I mean)!
If you watched multiple commentaries on Nostalgia Critic’s review of The Wall and MisAnthro Pony’s videos on that UA-cam channel, then yes. You are one of the only ones.
