I love that he didn’t buy her an already finished restaurant. Tiana got the restaurant SHE wanted and he helped her every step of the way in making it her own. This is truly the best Disney movie when it comes to influencing young kids. You can be in a relationship and still be independent.
Same with Charlotte too, like she could’ve easily bought her a restaurant and everything, but she respected her dreams and dedication z🥺 also someone pointed out that on the night of the ball, Charlotte had a blue dress that fit Tiana perfectly, and someone said that it’s like Charlotte bought that dress specifically for her

Best movie ever from Disney cause:
1. The female character had real ambitions for life, not only exploring and living happy but actually putting her abilities to work.
2. The male character fell in love gradually with the passing of days which is amazing cause no shit someone falls in love at first sight and marries the next morning.
3. They both respected each other, and he was hella supportive of her dream and she was supportive of helping him grow as a human too.

To be fair, if Beauty and the Beast was set in another time frame it would have similar effect. Belle also didn't want to just be someone's good wifey and all, she wanted to be acknowledged and respected. She also fell in love with the beast gradually, so if her time frame wasn't so long ago, it would be very similar in that aspect . Although there is the fact that Tiana had more wish to do what she did, because of the entire situation of both black people position in the world at the time and the fact she was poor and an orphan if I am correct, or was it just her father that died?

One of the things that makes Naveen of my top 3 disneys princes is his surprising humility. Throughout the movie, he acknowledges that he is spoiled, yet he doesnt act arrogant. He's a genuinely fun person to be around and he even has a moment of clarity in the movie where he admits he doesnt have any life skills. Normally, any other prince wouldve been too prideful to even dare stutter such a thing. But he's not afraid to admit it and is able to grow and change because of it. Mans is a 10 out of 10. Best disney prince ever!

One of the many reasons I love Tiana even if she was driven by her motives for her restaurant, she really felt uncomfortable when he said "I adore you" "I love you" because it was out of nowhere, she only knew Naveen for a few nights and even refused to kiss him. She knows how to set boundaries and if that isn't a good obvious message to kids, I don't know what is 😩 she's such a great character
