- The very first guitar cover in my NEW PLACE! I had to make it "ARRIVAL". More like a second meaning behind it, right? It was also the first song I was looking at when I met Soilwork in Wiesbaden during their tour!
Back in february I had the huge honor to interview @soilwork at Schlachthof Wiesbaden! Sylvain and Simon - their two guitar players - are giving you advice on how to start on guitar, what to do when you struggle with progress and much more! Also Sylvain teaches me a Soilwork riff!

Today I found the time to watch your new cover video. As always, turned out really well.
It was an intense weekend. But the best thing was to see you and your band live again and to talk to you.
As someone else said, if one of the guitarists on Soilwork drops out, you could easily replace him if you want.
I have no words; the quality of this download does not go to any comparison. The listener should really appreciate all the efforts that your is making to improve these videos, from mixing to ensuring that the lighting is absolutely perfect for shooting. Great technique, these toiler fingers dance on the fretboard like a rolling lightning storm over the plains. The sound of the track...since you have achieved your own sound, it has become the most delightful musical captivity. In one word... Ladies and gentlemen, all the compositions that this amazing guitarist plays, including lists of riffs, are more than perfect. It was this song that got me looking at soilwork, the songs that really catch my ear at the moment are Övergivenheten, Stålfågel, Rejection role, As we speak, Nerve and Stabbing the drama. If you can nail one of them just like this song, I'll be beyond impressed

That iz much awesomeness watching this video, nailing it. you keep talking about how you feel you have problemz with tha solo but everytime you have played this song that I've seen you have went note for note. As iz Soilwork iz my favorite band, and I was so happy to hear you be able to play one of their songz. I remember a couple yearz ago I asked you if you liked them and you said you weren't into death metal, but everyone iz entitled to their likez and dislikez. But you have come around and widened tha music you listen to and have learned so much. Thatz a sign of being your own person and realizing many different thingz for you to enjoy, growth. I only knew one Soilwork song from an ancient compilation, so this was entirely new to me, but it's a great song! Watching you learn it from the band and play it on the streams made for a really cool build-up to the cover, and the end result was spectacular! \m/ Killer playing and perfect tone! Such a fitting song to be the first one in the new place too. Your new recording area looks so cool. The lighting is just awesome! I think this was the first cover with the Horizon too, right? Great choice! :)

The new room looks great as a backdrop. 👍 I like the melody of this song, but the harsh vocals spoil it for me - I much prefer all clean vocals. The 'lesson' certainly paid off - super guitar work once again. 😀

Awesome cover, your covers lately, even the live ones on stream, just rock and groove like they are completely natural. Only critique i have is unrelated to the music or your playing - when you talk in videos and streams you sound a tiny bit like text to speech, and i think the reason is that two mics are recording you, or your mic has two channels, and there's a miniscule delay between them, giving you a slightly robotic sounding voice. 0:11 - for example here i hear it very strongly in the word "also", could probably even be something vibrating inside the mic, so a mechanical flaw, making your voice "reverberate" in the recording.
Is that Jassy in a white dress? The world is going to end! 😂. Great cover as usual and congratulations for your new place.

No, it's the only video where I used this guitar simply because of the fact that Sylvain is also using a Horizon 😜 I wanted it to be as close to the original as possible
