I was born here although I am British Pakistani I used to be proud of my British identity but not so much my Pakistani roots. Now after seeing how much traction hate has fueled so many in this country for my religion, colour and ethnicity. realizing from the fear my children and wife have faced these passed few weeks I will never truly be seen as British how can I ever be proud to be British and what British Values are people today upholding we should be ashamed of ourselves for letting these hooligans cause so much chaos. It's okay with me though. I'm proud of who I am, with my Jamaican and Ghanaian heritage, and my own beliefs and freedom to be myself. Don't allow anyone to make you feel bad about yourself, just re-evaluate things and live the way you want to live.
