    Excellent kit for the gigging semi-pro/pro drummer. Sound amazing. Been a drummer since 1969 and would totally enjoy owning one of these Rydeen kits. Paiste cymbals are not bad... one could get creative and make a couple of cymbals stacks or whatever.

    I'm 36 years old, and i bought this kit for myself to learn to drum, but my kids love it also very much, and have a lot of fun by just smashing those sticks on it. I have absolutely no experience whatsover with music, but i came in contact with someone who accidentally had a drumkit at home, and they let me try it, and i was sold!! That was so great to do, and i decided to buy one myself. After watching some vids how to learn to drum, i became very enthousiast, and i love to play this set, it sounds to me very good for a 750 euro set. i got the bright red one. Thanks for your opinion on this kit, and i'm very pleased that i choose this Rydeen kit.

    Being a middle aged dude, the loading in/out of gear has taken a toll on my lower back for the past 30 years of gigs. While I love my Ludwig Super Classics - they are heavy! I got this Rydeen kit along with some lighter weight hardware, and couldn't be happier.

    I think I'm gonna get me this kit tomorrow, but I don't mind though it's an entree set, since I've owned the 9000 series back in the late 70's and sold it to late Bobby Harrison who had been in the Moody Blues back in the Whiter Shade of Pale's days

      @@OdysseyMJB Well guess what? I picked the one that was behine the Rydeen kit, and that was the Stage Custom with the 20" kick - 10-12-14 toms and then I added the 16" floor tom and one on the brighter side but that was a RC vers. of the 8 inch. And I'm HAPPY with it

      Some packages offer cymbals with them. What I like is that you CAN buy them WITHOUT, because you get to choose your own cymbal pack then.

    When I bought mine they didn't have the boom stand and they set up the kit so I don't know if they took the boom stand because there was a boom stand like when they set it up in the shop so Idk if they scam me or not

    • @musicalala
      @musicalala Рік тому

      I'm not sure if this is the case with the particle stand model you have but the boom arm is hidden in the enter of the stand if it is the model that's shown in this video. If you loosen up the wingnut where the joint is that allows you to angle the stand,there could be a boom arm tucked into the center. Or you could have been duped like you suggest. Fiddle around with the wingnut and bring the angle adjustment to the vertical position and try pulling upwards while wingnut is still loosened.

    Would you recommend someone who has never touched a drum stick in their life pick this up or pick up the DW practice pad kit?!

    • @mrshiney2
      @mrshiney2 3 роки тому +7

      As a guitar player that taught himself drums here is my suggestion. Yeah grab a cheap kit Rydeen is a good choice or a Mapex. Next get a practice pad to work on your sticking. Buy the Tommy Igoe Groove essentials 1.0 DVD.....have at it

      Priced as a beginner kit but with new heads and the solid hardware supplied its hard to beat for the price with no extras to buy. I prefer the Euro version to the fusion kit though. The Fusion is a smaller kit which would suit younger players.

      I have the 22 kick and 16FT model and yeah, put some Evans or Remos on there and it doesn't sound at all like a beginners kit. I've gigged more than a few times with mine. Yamaha doesn't screw around when it comes to making drums.
