The temporary structures are something amazing just for the seating. I was looking up in aw at them earlier this year. So the event itself must be fantastic.
All tunes played by the massed pipes & drums are listed in the official tattoo programme, the 1st one listed is “The Inverness Gathering” but what they are playing 1st is “Intercontinental Gathering”. Neil Clark - Falkirk Piping has uploaded a video of playing it on the chanter.
This has to be one of the worst tattoo’s I have ever seen! It has nothing about the British military maneuvers or prowess and has turned into an international music festival! The massed pipes and drums were not up to par and the brass band was abysmal! Why the hell is the USA and Mexico involved?
Now imagine if this was choreographed by the SNP? Half the pipers would end up in Dundee, the drummers would be in Glasgow waiting a for a bus costing £8,000,000 to be built and the rest of them would be locked in a third rate Falkirk hotel because someone lost the key.
