    fresh cut hardwood (oak, willow, elm) logs will allow blended water-mushroom mush or slurry to colonise the wood. make sure the wood is somewhere that doesn't get too dry, water it during dry spells in a temperate zone. it works 1/3 of the time to 1/6 of the time, it's magical when it works.

    Oh my goodness! I was gifted over 20lbs of beautiful chicken of the woods mushrooms the other day and was researching what to do with them other than fill up my freezer, as I have run out of room. This wonderful video popped up and I am so glad! I have lots of saved jars and will definitely be giving this a try! Thank you!

    Im looking for this kind of recipe for mushrooms but for putting on my shelf. These have to go in the fridge correct? I love buying the italian eggplants, and mushrooms under oil, but unopened they go on shelf. What do you do for that?

    • @conniesrawsomekitchen
      @conniesrawsomekitchen  4 роки тому

      I would think to add vinegar in the recipe for that. I would prepoil the mushrooms and then add them into the pan with the oil garlic and herbs....then jar and top with oil. I would think the vinegar will help with the shelf life. But I have yet to try that. Just my guess
