Hello Aly! I totally respect your opinion & your view point for body types! You are my teacher! I am sure that Mila Kunis isn't TR. She is SG! She hasn't wide hips and tiny waist at all!!! She doesn't look "womanly and young" like TR. She looks childsh, girlsh like SG! Have a nice day!
Hi.. I hope you can help me I look very dramatic.. Long vertical line.. Narrow shoulders.. long thin fingers .. Dramatic bust.. However iam not that tall (5.5 ).. I have Soft face soft jaw and Cheeck bones..full lips and almond eyes.. Moderate flesh in tbe face even when i am thiner curvey hips and legs.. So what am i??😅 I got 6 A/6 D/ 2 C / 1 E/ 1 B Thanks soo much..❤️😘 You are doing an amazing job snd god bess you
I don't know why you said Eva Mendez looks healthier then Keira Nightly because she is wider and heavier. To me Keira looks much healthier exactly because she is thinner and her bones are stronger. So she is thin but so masculine, lean and strong. That's definitions of health and it's much more satisfying to look at then someone who looks heavy.
It is hard! I’m starting to just think I’m a classic because I can’t seem to decide between all of them. All I know is I’m not gamine because I don’t look as good in the typical gamine necklines.
@@winter-wb7cf I bought 5 different outfits -each for one type- and stood in front of a mirror. Then took pictures to get a better view and sent them to friends. I took the test. As I suspected- I am Soft Romantic. I completely understand now (after All THESE YEARS ) why I could never develope a hard flat sculpted stomach! Didn’t matter how much ab exercise I did! For the first time in my life I feel okay about it! I always thought I was not excercise properly and not eating healthy! If someone told me this ten years ago!!!!! 😭😭 I love my body more than ever now. My rounded fleshy shoulders and upper arms which I disliked because it never looked healthy and athletic to me. feel like crying!!
Yes! What is so wonderful about this Kibbe system, is that all body shapes and sizes suddenly are validated. We are so used to fashion magazines! It is really disturbing. It's wonderful to see that there are very beautiful women who don't fit into body types that were popular in different eras. That would be an interesting idea! Think of the 1800's ideals of beauty in Europe, and the Roaring Twenties - and then WW2, then the 1970's. The "ideal woman's body" has changed so much! Marilyn du Kek, I am so happy you had this realization. It is wonderful! Thank you so, so much, Aly!
@@cymo512 Wow, a beautiful reminder about how ideals have always shifted. Every type is beautiful! We were all made a woman -- whichever type we are, we are just as valid as the next. We don't remind ourselves of this as often as we need to. Here's to self love and luck on our journeys!
I am a clinical psychologist and know both from personal experience and from my clients just how hard won acceptamce of one's body and self can be. My trajectory of body acceptance went something li.e this...thismis NOT everyone's trajectory though: 1. Childhood I was very athletic had been crippled with ricketts amd uad t9 wear clunky metal nraces to straighten the legs. The good thing was nallet and acrobats was prescribed along with swimming,, bike riding outdoors and leg acitivity at all thus in then1950s when most girls in my climate were indoors palyi g with dolls I was outdpors climbing trees withmthe boys, boke riding with them, swimming, in ballet etc I was super skinny brini goff every calorie I took in. 2. I developed at 13 intp an athletic but curvy body....5ft 4in 110 lbs as a teen. Weight went up with pregnancy in a cold climate no exercise went from 118 lbs to 175! Took 2 year to get the weight off settled in at 128. Did ballet. and yoga. 3. Had a second child mid 20s and leveld off at 135 where I pretty much stayed til after menopause. Then I went to 175 lbs again. i didnt know it bit I had developed thyroid issues...slowly my thyroid gland diminished in size to half size I went into full blown hypothyroidism at 70 went in meds and back to 125lb. Currently stabilized. Throughout my life I have been many sizes I add weight mostly to breasts hips and upper thighs. When a bit heavier like 145 I believed I was Romantic and those clothes did look by far the best on me. But at this weight I have been thinking I am Theatrical Romantic...I look best in TR clothes bit looking here I think I might be. Soft Classic. Now rationally if one is supposed to be one type throughout life then how cpuld I have thought I was all these types? I do so etimes wear classic clothng and it looks fine on. me it just doesnt inspire me. I love feminine romantic clothing and I spent most of my non working life in it ...classic for work. I do like Kibbe because it taught me to emphasize my waist...nothing oversize ever on my now size 6/8 petite body. No wide leg pants that shorten me and make me look dowdy. Showing ankle and wrists most of the time. Close fitting clothes not skintight. No long tops tops tucked at the waist. This formula works for the body I have now.
Absolutely same! Understanding my body type in this way has helped me not only to accept it more, but to actually enjoy what is more exclusive to me - my curves and softness.
I've had such a hard time deciding if I'm a theatrical romantic or soft classic, but after taking the quiz and looking at this video's comparisons, I definitely think I'm a soft classic but I just happen to be shorter than that body type usually is.
For me is still difficult to understand my type, because being overweight is easy to think yhay you are a romantic type, but the bone structure can be different but you aren´t sure because of the flesh above the squeleton...
I have this problem with my body type. I am soft, fleshy and small, so I was pretty sure I was romantic / theatrical romantic...but I feel like it's not true, I can't really figure out my bone structure, so I decidet to be soft gamine at this moment :D
If I'm 5'5 longer legs than torso, very small ,short, defined waist, wide hips, pretty defined"booty ,huge breasts and short arms am I theatrical romantic type? 😂 Hourglass for sure
Hey Aly! It'd be so cool if you made a video like this but with photos of your subscribers! We could send you pics and then you chose some to put in the video as examples! I think it'd be nice because it'dmake it easier to have an idea of how each body type looks on people that aren't models or actresses (because we all know they use certain kinds of makeup and outfits that make their body type characteristics look less prominent). Anyway, I would absolutely love to see more videos!
I am getting a much better understanding of the types it is so interesting to learn about I can never get tired of this series keep them coming! Thank you Aly! ☺️💙
Who wore it better is a really great idea! I think I am still struggling a bit with TR vs SG. Both for myself (I think I am TR) and for the celebrities, I find it hardest to differentiate between the two. Faces in particular for me are difficult.
These comparisons really helped me understand more, and figure out more. I'm wondering if you could do a video showing the long vertical line types and then another video showing the moderate types, and then the gamines. Let's see if anyone else is wondering more about those categories. Thank you very much, Aly, for this video - it was enlightening!
I really love this series, and “who wore it better?” videos would be great additions! I love everything you film & upload. Thank you for putting in so much effort, Aly!
I'm sorry but I can see everytjing you say about them but still cannot tell my body type. It's hard for me to see myself objectively. Coud we send you pictures for a price?
I'd love a video on comparing just theatrical romantic with the other types. I don't see how Mila kunis is theatrical romantic so I'm still seriously confused about it haha. thank you! you have a beautiful energy!
One look at Mila, she seems like a type of gamine, but then she looks really good with very feminine dresses as well as flowing hair, typically associated with romantics. So that's interesting. She's like a Romantic lite. Lol
Huh. So I just had this weird kind of revelation while watching your videos. So, now that I know my body type and face shape and etc. I’m starting to realize that all the girls and women I’ve ever considered beautiful or pretty, are R or TR (me) or sometimes C. Basically, I like people that look like me. I’ve always had very selective tastes and come to find out I’m really just looking for a reflection of myself in others around me. It seems a little vain to be honest, but I’m also a little surprised. Is this true for anyone else? I’m curious. 🤔
No your right I think all people try to find someone more like them. I noticed when I was a teen that people who stayed together for long time actually had looked a lot alike.
LOL yes I always find what I think are beautiful girls and my friends always say I look like them anyway but some people don’t think the girls I find are pretty
I think I tend to find women more attractive if they wear the types of clothes and hairstyles that I know would look good on me. Therefore I like theatrical romantic types and soft gamine types, but I find naturals and classics a little boring to look at. I do really admire the soft dramatic types, though.
Kibbe now types Cate Blanchet as a Flamboyant Natural and Mila Knis as a Soft Natural. He doesn't use pure Natural anymore so Jennifer Aniston is now a Soft Natural. I can't remember where I saw that but I used to belong to his Facebook group so maybe there.
Oh thank you for letting me know! It's interesting! Yes Kibbe said before that typing the stars it's never 100% - because you can't be sure looking just on some pictures. We can see some similarities and differences in overall body structure and by comparing, but that can't be very accurate. It's like you try to see the coloration of a person by a photo..
Yes, if you look around the internet there will be some difference in how people have typed various celebrities by seasonal colour and in style types. Your videos are great for explaining things well and I enjoyed them. From what I can tell, David Kibbe does change his mind about celebrities so it's difficult to keep up! LOL
at 5:31, the picture is very tricky, beacuse the blonde girl on the left, Elizabeth Debicki is super tall, more than 190 cm, and the girl on the right, Alicia Vikander is not short at all, 166 cm
@@dip9634 166 is neiter tall nor short. It is average. Of course our perception of height is determined by the average height of the people in our community.
Oh I thought the photo meant that Alicia vikander IS actually very short- i don’t use centimeters so I’m not sure what 190 is in inches- Alicia vikander looks TINY here! It’s crazy
Mila Kunis is a threatical romantic? She looks to me more like a soft natural. She doesn’t have that delicate sharpness, neither does she have a hourglass type of body. Just saying, but thank you anyways.
It did confuse me, too. But then I've read what Kibbe himself had to say (she's verified by him) and now I see why she's a TR (slightly exceptional one, though, but still). When you look at her picture from afar and see the overall shape, the bone structure and the flesh, you can see that she's small but delicate, with only some sharpness. She doesn't have an hourglass shape (who knows how much training she does, muscles change proportions) but when you look carefully, you can see how round her thighs are compared to her small waist, it's as if the hourglass was there but very, very delicate. Also, she looks best in TR's clothes with waist emphasis. So she's still Yin dominant.
this was actually exceptionally helpful!! it requires a keen eye but with enough detail analysis, you can really pin down your kibbe type. great series!!!
05:24 The girl on the right is Alicia Vikander. She is most famous for her oscar winning role in The Danish Girl :) She is actually 5ft6, so quite tall (compared to average).
Except the average height of women is 5'4", and she's only a little above that. The average height of women in Alicia's country is nearly 5'6", so she's extremely average there.
Tripcode true, I’ve seen her in movies. She “looks” short, she’s such a gamine! Especially in “U.N.C.L.E.”. Shame I can’t attach a picture here, but in that film in particular it’s pretty evident. Only in her new Lara Croft movie she looks “natural”.
yeeess!! this was awesome and what I was waiting for ♡♡♡ amazing. I would be very intrested in another comparison like this or "who wore it better?" video :) thank you
silvermoonshineX3 I like The “who wore it better” idea. Especially if she could compare the same outfit on the body type it suits and compare it to a body type wearing the same outfit that it doesn’t suit.
Can a person be between two body types? In that case I think I could be soft classic / theatrical romantic. For ex:my body bone structure is quite narrow with rounded edges. But my flesh and facial features are very rounded. Even though my body fat percentage shows that I'm athletic. 🤔
I love the comparison of the body types ,my favorites are the old Hollywood glamour .Thank you Aly my daughter and I am learning there’s names to the types ,I just have a gift to know what works on them ,clothes ,makeup etc but this is fun ,your very interesting and intelligent .❤
I have taken the test 3 times. Twice by myself and once with my husband scoring it. I got the soft classic all three times. However, I am only 5'2". Can I be a soft classic while being short?
I am new to this topic and recently answered the test. It said I am a soft classic but I wasn't convinced. Thanks to your video, I confirmed it. Thank you!
would you do a video on exceptions? i know most types are generally categorized, but some people in a category have one feature that doesn't fit the description. that would help classifying.
Yeah, sometimes I see celebs being put in different categories, like I've seen Cindy Crawford being placed as a Flamboyant Natural and a Soft Dramatic, and Mădălina Diana Ghenea in both of those at the same time.
Thanks Ally. Sorry for being so repetitive but I was hoping you did a basic Men's edition body and face type. I was also hoping you showed us like you did with the Eyebrows, Hair and Skin, what the most important makeup steps are. If we have only 5 minutes to get ready what should be the main makeup products to apply?
Ally bases her videos on David Kibbe's 13 female body types. Did he do males as well? I searched but couldn't find it. It would be totally fascinating! If Kibbe hasn't got material on men for Ally to refer to, then I think it would take her some time to do a similar video. Because she would have to go off her own instinct and observations which form over time.
Tom Jones i' ve seen two adaptations for male body. One is very, very confusing and the other is too simple, but nonethless helpful. The only cathegories are dramatic, natural, classic, theatrical romantic and gamin
Tom Jones and Roxemary, that sounds intriguing 😃. To be honest I didn't realize when I suggested that that might take a lot of work 😬. I'm a curious bee. I know Ally has a lot on her plate with all our requests and hope it's not an annoyance to receive more. But she's like a genius at explaining these things, I have learned so much from her.
Hi Aly, what do you think of the Angelic and Ingenue body types by Kitchener? You mentioned here that sometimes dramatic can look alien. What do you think of Cate Blanchett (who is Angelic in Kitchener's system), and how she seems to look wonderful in light airy fabrics and is often cast as some otherworldly being. Also you are so lovely and I love your videos!!
I have yet to see a comparison between theatrical romantic and soft natural anywhere. I'd like to be able to see this so I can see the compare and contrast of the two.
I love these videos, so helpful. I, too, would like to see one where the frames are carrying more fat. maybe different types gain weight in different places? That would be interesting
*6:53* the shoulders appear broader because of the neckline, they have the same wight in the shoulders the neckline extend it horizontally make it appear broader then actual is.
I didn't even know this was a thing! YT randomly recommended one of your videos, and now I've been bingeing through your channel. This is so interesting. It's like I'm seeing the world with different eyes and better understanding. Thank you for all the informative videos!
Interesting video as expected :) Bless you! It'd be nice if coming videos included dresses and skirts for different body types. Along with who dressed more suitable for her type and why. Love what you do 🌸
Yes, please! Who wore it better and also more fashion tips for different body types. (Clothes). It's so helpful to see what works on a body and doesn't and why! Thank you for all your hard work putting this together for us :)
thank you for this! you've cleared up for good whether I'm a Soft Classic or Theatrical Romantic - I couldn't find any other resources that showed the difference!
vilma's voyage I think if you have the gamine face you would know it, the big eyes...it would be the coolest feature you have. Gamines are also the epitome of "petit". You could be easily a TR.
Look at your hands, if they're small and delicate, you're TR, if they are smallish, but a little bit wider, then SG, also a SG looks like a teenager and TR looks more like a women.
Thanks for all the help everyone! I'm still a bit confused though. I definitely look a lot younger than my age, but I don't think I have the typical gamine face. I also definitely have more of an hourglass figure and quite large chest, but my shoulders are relatively wide so I tend to look a bit bulky on my upper body. My hands are small but I have pretty wide fingers. My mom's definitely a soft gamine but I think overall I look more feminine than her. I'm starting to lean more towards TR but certainly not sure. Maybe I should just send my pictures to Aly haha!
I cannot tell if I am soft natural or soft classic even after watching this video. Would you possibly do a video comparing all the soft types against each other?
I'm even more confused if I'm a theatrical romantic or a soft classic now. TR's are less proportionate? I've always thought I was one. The comparison in this is baffling because I'm proportionate but short and definitely not a soft classic.
Clariz Yangson Same girl, same. But I saw that a SC will not be extremely short, and usually they have larger bones than TR's, so I think I'm a TR. In your photo you look quite balanced but I'm thinking TR will be a good answer, but I can't see your body so idk.
Clariz Yangson are you a Romantic? Such beautiful feminine curves in your face like Kate Winslet. TR's have some sharpness, like a sharp pointy chin, or tapered jaw, or pointy nose, and I don't see that in your face.
Tom Jones I think I might do the test again and see if I am a Romantic or Theatrical Romantic. Maybe it never came to my mind first because I'm younger and evidently skinnier which lead me to think I'm a TR because usually the examples of R's are women with bountiful curves 😄😅
Guys, check Strictly Kibbe group on Facebook where David Kibbe himself teaches his system and posts excercises that will help you understand the yin/yang balance, find your very own personal Image ID and change how you shop for clothes. First thing - stop comparing body parts and proportions! Honestly, join the group, your lifes will be easier. The whole confusion will instantly go away when you understand how the system works. Lots of love! :)
I think theatrical romantics give off a leaner, more delicate appearance (think a beautiful bird), while soft classic are taller with an overall cleaner look. While I'm far from an expert, the shoulders might be a good giveaway: TR's probably have extremely delicate shoulders while SC's have very symmetrical, even ones. The clothes you look good in might also help. If you look better in silhouettes with a bit of drama to them (big ruffles, like Scarlett O'Hara's wardrobe from Gone With the Wind, etc.), chances are you have the bone structure of a TR, whereas SC's look prettier in clothes with cleaner lines.
i love these videos, it really helps me to distinguish dressing myself, others and also painting and drawing, I have always noticed these proportions, sizes and angles, but didnt have any solid theories to support them.
I always thought I was a natural body type, but I'm starting to think I'm Flamboyant Gamine. I have a large head, boyish figure, long arms and legs. People say I look like a bitmoji 😂 this is so much fun Aly! Thank you for making this style guide more accessible. ❤
I'm still unsure whether I'm Theatrical Romantic or Soft Dramatic. My answers give me Theatrical Romantic, but I'm 5'7" and have a small head that makes the rest of my body look big in comparison. I have long legs and arms, which are now more muscular because I work out. My hands are small and delicate, though.
Libration Rihanna is 5'8 and is listed as theatrical romantic because she's not that big and wide like sofia vergara, monica bellucci, tyra banks, who look like statues. Even if you're tall I think what matters is if your bones are big or soft, in your body and in your face.
Angela Rarara thank you, I saw that she was there too and went looking at her photos. I definitely have wider shoulders, or at least they look like that because of my small head. The bones in my face, hands and feet are small and delicate. I'll have to ask friends what they think.
According to Kibbe's book, TRs are 5'5'' and under. TR is a narrow Yin with a Yang undercurrent. If you are taller than average, have long limbs and wide (test's B) shoulders, you can't be TR, because it's not undercurrent but explicit Yang. TR recommendations are for narrow and short proportions. As for Rihanna, I believe Kibbe assigned her as a TR by mistake. There have been multiple cases when he reassigned celebrities after having a closer look at them.
Olga P i am confused whether i am a soft natural or romantic. I have a large head with romantic features and puffy face. Its not necessarily my shoulders are wide as my arms are just big looking. My waist goes in but my legs are small for my body. My hands and feet are just kind of bony and long but look out of place. Im tall 5’6” but people but people think im slightly shorter than i am. I would guess i was a romantic if it werent for my small legs. Oh im also quite fleshy with relative muscle because i workout. People always tell me i should do more workouts no matter how skinny i am.
Thank you for that video! I've been unsure what I am for a long time, but when I compared (SC) Marion Cotillard and (R) Kate Winslet with my photos with friends, it has become very clear that I am a Romantic type. Only now I am sure of it, and I've been digging the case for a year! Thank you for your videos and sharing your work!
I really enjoyed this video. It did help me to understand a bit better the body types and figure out which one fits me best (I think I'm a soft classic or classic).
Can someone help me with differentiating between Dramatic Classic and Soft Classic? I'm 5'2 and used to be overweight (hence I still keep some extra flesh over my lower abdomen, upper arms and thighs even now that I've lost weight), but I'm definitely not petite, I just ruled out Gamine. However I'm not totally narrow, strong/muscular, or rounded/womanly either. I can see I'm balanced overall, but I'm often quite soft to have a Yang undercurrent and quite sharp to have a Yin undercurrent. Please help me with this.
Thank you so much for your insightful analysis! 😊 I Love your videos! ❤️ I think I am a soft classic however when I look at the clothes they recommend in Pinterest I feel they are a bit conservative for my taste...I quite like the soft natural style for me although the fabrics and print suggestions from soft classic definitely suit me better. Is this a recurrent problem with the Kibbe system? I think it would be great if you could make a video with more trendy outfits for every Kibbe style...Specially in the case of classic types, as the outfits often suggested can be a bit old fashioned sometimes....Thank you so much!
My face and body never matched and now I’ve had babies my flat stomach is no longer flat and yet I still can’t figure out if I’m a soft gamine or theatrical romantic or neither

This video was very helpful. I can understand the differences when I can see the comparison. I enjoy watching these body types videos. Thanks for posting about such an interesting topic. ^_^
I’m just confused! I’m 5ft8 yet testing shows Theatrical Romantic. Legs aren’t short. Arms are long. Shoulders are broad. Hands are moderate. Cheekbones are quite high. Cheeks quite fleshy. Wrists are small. True hourglass but not extreme. Putting on weight takes the hourglass away somewhat.
Another great video! I would love to see Who wore it better, but make sure not to focus on only few body types in that series. And I would love if in WWIB series something looks better on one body type to say what would be better for another(like shorter/longer skirt or dress, figure hugging or wider clotres) if you understan what I mean. Looking forward 💕
I'm between a theatrical romantic and a soft natural.THINKING that my height is the determinating factor?Since I'm 5' 3.5",would that make me on the taller or shorter side?
very interesting, that was great! I was surprised about the difference between Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington: you say Linda is dramatic (no width) and Christy is Flamboyant. I would have thought it was the opposite. Christy looks narrower (slighter and sharper) in bone structure than Linda. There is something rounder and more muscular about Linda...
I love your videos but I feel like these types of videos focus on people with less fat, I’d love to see how to identify a body type on someone with more fat tissue
I figured out my body type by the clothes I wear lol. I thought that I'm something around classic, but clothes that I look good in says that I'm a soft natural. I think It's my excess fat confused me, because it makes me more round and soft, hides masculine features
Aleх S. that’s great! I’m struggling to find out my body type and dress for it, I’m a uk size 12 so I’m not “fat” so to speak but I can’t really see my body within her examples 🙇🏼♀️ I find her videos so helpful I’d love to be able to relate xx
Why can’t I determine what i am?! I am slightly muscular w almost a pear shape, thick thighs and my waist stays small when I gain weight but my boobs aren’t big. So I’m not boyish but not hourglass and I’m confused. Also I’m 5’8 so I’m not super tall but not short at all... is my face soft or sharp lmao I’ve watched all of your vids and still confused

I don't know why you said Eva Mendez looks healthier then Keira Nightly because she is wider and heavier. To me Keira looks much healthier exactly because she is thinner and her bones are stronger. @@cymo512 Wow, a beautiful reminder about how ideals have always shifted. Every type is beautiful! We were all made a woman -- whichever type we are, we are just as valid as the next. We don't remind ourselves of this as often as we need to. Here's to self love and luck on our journeys!
I am a clinical psychologist and know both from personal experience and from my clients
just how hard won acceptamce of one's body and self can be. My trajectory of body acceptance went something li.e this...thismis NOT everyone's trajectory though:
It would be cool a "who wore it better'' or why certain clothes look 'weird' on certain women.
Burrito Sabanero omg yes.
There is a video with the title you requested by the same UA-camr now.
Yes!!
The woman next to Kate Winslet is Shailene Woodley ;)
I was looking for this comment. I thought it was SW
Yep, Shailene and I think flamboyant natural is a good description of her.
Exactly! They both played in "Divergent" series. :)
You should analize pic of your followers... Im in
Ana Maria Rodríguez Rojas anal ice?
Chi Springfield hahaha so Sorry... I dont speak english 😛 thanks
Yes, me too 🙋🏻♀️
YESSS
Ana Maria Rodríguez Rojas yass!
@@femalevoice_ probably theatrical romantic or romantic
Desislava Filipova it depends on your bones and the general features, you could also be a gamine. Short arms are Def R, TR or SG
@@femalevoice_ Where do your arms end when you stand straight?
Aline that idea is so awesome and unique. I hope Aly thinks about it😊
Hey this girl does exactly that on her channel ua-cam.com/channels/LWyoIWSCYTiVw1BJ7pgCDw.html
iwas just thinking i wish she could tell me what she thinks i am.. i can guess myself but her opinion i trust more.
Yessss please aly
I wish you had more on dramatic classic - I felt like I only saw a few compared to other types which sometimes had 6-7 comparisons.
I am getting a much better understanding of the types it is so interesting to learn about I can never get tired of this series keep them coming! Thank you Aly! ☺️💙
Swimming suits for each body type!!! Pleeeeeeease!
Who wore it better is a really great idea!
I think I am still struggling a bit with TR vs SG. Both for myself (I think I am TR) and for the celebrities, I find it hardest to differentiate between the two. Faces in particular for me are difficult.
I don't know how you've done it, but I feel better about myself and my build. You've made things clear for me. Thank you!
Have actually the same problem and the same question. It would be great idea. Thanks
Take into account your hands, shape of fingers, length od your neck, is it long? What parts if your body getting fat firstly. Details matter
@@WerKatarzyna okay. Thanks a lot. But how do I now find out how this information shows which body type I am?
@@marr9060 have you seen the test she has on her channel?
I'm wondering if reddit could pull this off?
I'd love a video on comparing just theatrical romantic with the other types. I don't see how Mila kunis is theatrical romantic so I'm still seriously confused about it haha. thank you! you have a beautiful energy!
theres another comment ab this n someone underneath it commented about how she is an exception, but still has the foundations of a TR
One look at Mila, she seems like a type of gamine, but then she looks really good with very feminine dresses as well as flowing hair, typically associated with romantics. So that's interesting.
She's like a Romantic lite. Lol
Mila definitely seems gaming not TR. Just like Jada pinkett.
Lucas Bieber Nope it's absolutely true. I find Tyra and Sofia absolutely stunning and I realize it's because I'm also a Soft Dramatic.
No your right I think all people try to find someone more like them.
I noticed when I was a teen that people who stayed together for long time actually had looked a lot alike.
Yes me too, i tend to see someone with similar squarish face as me is more beautiful than the rest lol
LOL
That doesn't make sense.
at 5:31, the picture is very tricky, beacuse the blonde girl on the left, Elizabeth Debicki is super tall, more than 190 cm, and the girl on the right, Alicia Vikander is not short at all, 166 cm
166 is short
@@dip9634 166 is neiter tall nor short. It is average. Of course our perception of height is determined by the average height of the people in our community.
Oh I thought the photo meant that Alicia vikander IS actually very short- i don’t use centimeters so I’m not sure what 190 is in inches- Alicia vikander looks TINY here! It’s crazy
@@etheralexistence In the United states that is actually taller than average. Apparently the average height is just 161cm there.
@@MissCaraMint
No it's not. It ist average, there are some parts in america where people are smaller but 1,66 m is average in the united states.
Loved the side by side comparisons!!! Incredibly helpful
Mila Kunis is a threatical romantic? She looks to me more like a soft natural. She doesn’t have that delicate sharpness, neither does she have a hourglass type of body. Just saying, but thank you anyways.
ENFP PINK BUBBLE agree... That confused me...
Did you just say Mila Kunis doesn't have a delicate sharpness?
I think the TRs have some sharpness that can throw ppl off. It’s mostly the facial features, though.
Magdalena Gwioździk oh I understand now, thank you so much.
Hope it helps

this was actually exceptionally helpful!! it requires a keen eye but with enough detail analysis, you can really pin down your kibbe type. great series!!!
The woman next to Ruby rose is Jess Origliasso, one half of the Veronicas 😊
05:24 The girl on the right is Alicia Vikander. She is most famous for her oscar winning role in The Danish Girl :) She is actually 5ft6, so quite tall (compared to average).
Except the average height of women is 5'4", and she's only a little above that. The average height of women in Alicia's country is nearly 5'6", so she's extremely average there.
+Tripcode With 7+ billion people in the world, scandinavians hardly matter. We won't make a dent in the statistics.
eizhowa True; my point being, she's not that tall, especially compared with people who share her ancestry and background.
eizhowa and she is soft classic.
Especially if she could compare the same outfit on the body type it suits and compare it to a body type wearing the same outfit that it doesn’t suit.
amberdoe yes, absolutely!
Can a person be between two body types? In that case I think I could be soft classic / theatrical romantic.
For ex:my body bone structure is quite narrow with rounded edges. But my flesh and facial features are very rounded. Even though my body fat percentage shows that I'm athletic. 🤔
Would you be able to do more comparisons? Like soft classic versus soft natural? I think I’m soft classic with some soft natural bits too...
Thank you!
I am sure someone has already pointed out that the lady on the right of Elizabeth Debicki at 5:16 is Alicia Vikander.
i would LOVE who wore it better, thank you Aly you're the best
“It’s always a matter of how happy you are and how well you know yourself/your story- this is what makes us beautiful” Aly Art
Seriously - after months of test taking, picture analyzing, trying on tons of outfits....I watch this video and it all makes sense. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
would you do a video on exceptions? i know most types are generally categorized, but some people in a category have one feature that doesn't fit the description. that would help classifying.
emma she says that this is more like a guide and there's usually not a 100% type, because we all have different features.
Yeah, sometimes I see celebs being put in different categories, like I've seen Cindy Crawford being placed as a Flamboyant Natural and a Soft Dramatic, and Mădălina Diana Ghenea in both of those at the same time.
The UA-camr Merriam Style made a video about women whose faces don't match their body type. It's called " same face, different body type".
Soft gamine with small head
I would love if you did more of these types of comparison videos, they’re really helpful! :D
Could you send a link please ? Please ?
I mean roxemary.
Raychelle Ballard a SN looks more muscular and a little bit more manly than TR's, also taller.
I love these videos, so helpful. I, too, would like to see one where the frames are carrying more fat. maybe different types gain weight in different places? That would be interesting
Eva Mendes is a Soft Dramatic
*6:53* the shoulders appear broader because of the neckline, they have the same wight in the shoulders the neckline extend it horizontally make it appear broader then actual is.
As many more videos in this category as you can make, please! 💜💜💜
Fantastic video! I enjoyed it so much. It made things so much clearer. I would love to see a "who wore it better" video.
Keep comparing, I'm constantly learning more about my type and what looks good on me
I didn't even know this was a thing! YT randomly recommended one of your videos, and now I've been bingeing through your channel. This is so interesting. It's like I'm seeing the world with different eyes and better understanding. Thank you for all the informative videos!
sat thru the whole thing for 3 soft classics right at the end :(
Interesting video as expected :)
Bless you! It'd be nice if coming videos included dresses and skirts for different body types. Along with who dressed more suitable for her type and why.
Love what you do 🌸
I would love a video on makeup for the different types. Or maybe a tutorial for each?
Hi Aly - these last three videos you have posted have been the most helpful ones, i think :)
This is super helpful!!! Thank you for taking the time to compile it! PS Making sure I don't skip the ads!!
Yes, please! Who wore it better and also more fashion tips for different body types. (Clothes). It's so helpful to see what works on a body and doesn't and why! Thank you for all your hard work putting this together for us :)
Still didnt get the difference between soft natural and theatrical romantic
Екатерина Зайкова Soft Natural looks stronger.
It’s the width. All naturals are broad/blunt, theatrical romantics are narrower, rounded flesh on a narrower/smaller bone structure.
thank you for this! you've cleared up for good whether I'm a Soft Classic or Theatrical Romantic - I couldn't find any other resources that showed the difference!
Who wore it better is a great idea for a video.
I am more confused than before by this video… faces can be completely different to body shape
Next to Kate Winslet is Shailene Woodley from Big Little Lies, The Descendents and The Fault in our Stars.
I really can't seem to be able to figure out whether I'm theatrical romantic or soft gamine. What are the main differences between the two?
vilma's voyage soft gamine looks fragile, theatrical romantic looks solid, robust and curvier
vilma's voyage I think if you have the gamine face you would know it, the big eyes...it would be the coolest feature you have. Gamines are also the epitome of "petit". You could be easily a TR.
vilma's voyage gamines look younger than their actual age ( often looks like teenagers or youthful) TRs look like woman curvy, soft and luscious
You do a fantastic job at comparing and contrasting the body types!
All today I've been going through your content and this makes the search so much easier! Love your videos Aly❣️
My facial features don't match my body type. 🤷🏻♀️
Thank you for putting so much effort into this video. It's helpful to see the visuals with your explanation.
What's your opinion of ethereal and ingenue subtypes...and what about mixtures of two or more types ?
I always thought I was a natural body type, but I'm starting to think I'm Flamboyant Gamine. I have a large head, boyish figure, long arms and legs. People say I look like a bitmoji 😂 this is so much fun Aly! Thank you for making this style guide more accessible. ❤
Can you please do “Makeup for the Body Types”???
Thank you, I think so too.
1:03 The girl on the right is an actress that used to be brunette and her name is Shailene Woodley. She used to be super thin
Aly where can send you my picture to help me what body type im,....still confused please help
I wanted to ask her the same thing lol (I mean sending my picture not yours ;-))
same here haha
She really should type people's bodies for $1 donations :P
cryforthemoon more than that omg she's already an experts, she deserves more than $1 for her time and expertise
Same here... Im Kind of confused 😄 from The Test I am likely to be soft Classic but now after seeing this video I am rather some kind of gamine 🤔
I really enjoyed this video. It did help me to understand a bit better the body types and figure out which one fits me best (I think I'm a soft classic or classic).
I'd love to see or hear the specific differences between dramatic classic, flamboyant natural and soft dramatic.
Thank you for putting so much effort in your videos. And btw you have a very relaxing voice you could also be an ASMRtist 😊
Could you pls do a more detailed comparison btwn dramatics and flamboyant naturals? I am not sure where I fit in these categories.
Oh and if you could do seasonal picks for different body types! Like trends that work for different body types and others not so much!
I still have zero clue about my face shape or body type. This is so interesting, I just wish I could see things more clearer, quickly
Thank you so much for your insightful analysis! 😊 I Love your videos! ❤️
I think I am a soft classic however when I look at the clothes they recommend in Pinterest I feel they are a bit conservative for my taste...I quite like the soft natural style for me although the fabrics and print suggestions from soft classic definitely suit me better. Is this a recurrent problem with the Kibbe system? I think it would be great if you could make a video with more trendy outfits for every Kibbe style...Specially in the case of classic types, as the outfits often suggested can be a bit old fashioned sometimes....Thank you so much!
Love this. Helps to understand body types better. Who wore it better would be great!
My face and body never matched and now I’ve had babies my flat stomach is no longer flat and yet I still can’t figure out if I’m a soft gamine or theatrical romantic or neither
Yay Kirsten! I LOVE knowing my body type! (Soft classic) Spaciba Aly! Your videos have really helped alot and have changed th game for me big time! Now I find myself suggesting styling tips to friends and family :D thank youuuu x
This video was very helpful. I can understand the differences when I can see the comparison. I enjoy watching these body types videos. Thanks for posting about such an interesting topic. ^_^
Oh definitely do more of these.
I'm still confused though, as I am back to thinking there's more than two options again
These video really helped me discern between each type thank you
I'm between a theatrical romantic and a soft natural.THINKING that my height is the determinating factor?Since I'm 5' 3.5",would that make me on the taller or shorter side?
This is fantastic... it would be so helpful to label the body types in the photos, as you describe them. Wonderful. Thank you!
very interesting, that was great!
I thought the same. I was surprised and thought I had the types down and got all confused when I heard this!
YES! YES! YES!
Aleх S. that’s great! I’m struggling to find out my body type and dress for it, I’m a uk size 12 so I’m not “fat” so to speak but I can’t really see my body within her examples 🙇🏼♀️ I find her videos so helpful I’d love to be able to relate xx
THIS
It has a name. It's called either chubby, fat or morbidly obese. Not much to analyze.
I love these body type videos!
Love all of the examples and comparisons. Thanks again :)
